Last Day to Register for the Central Regional!

The Central Regional is this weekend at Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis!

Register online at www.TrackWrestling.com by May 15 to guarantee your spot. Online registration closes at noon Eastern time on May 15. On-site registration will also be accepted.

Freestyle will compete on Saturday, May 17. Greco-Roman will compete on Sunday, May 18. Wrestlers competing in both styles only have to weigh in once! There will also be a kids folkstyle tournament on Saturday.

Age Divisions

Bantam Festival: Born 2006-2007

Intermediate: Born 2004-2005

Novice: Born 2002-2003

Schoolboy/girl: Born 2000-2001

Cadet: Born 1998-1999

Junior: Born September 1, 1994 and after plus currently enrolled in grades 9-12

Girls Festival: 2007 and before

All wrestlers must have a current USA Wrestling membership. Membership can be purchased or renewed at www.USAWMembership.com.

Coaches must pass a background check and have a current coaches membership. Kids coaches must be a minimum copper certified. Junior and Cadet coaches must be a minimum bronze certified. There will be a bronze clinic at ESU on Friday.

PARTICIPATION IS OPEN TO WRESTLERS FROM ANY STATE. HOWEVER, ONLY KIDS WRESTLERS FROM A CENTRAL REGION STATE WILL QUALIFY FOR THE 2014 ASICS/USAW KIDS NATIONALS AT THIS EVENT (unless they receive a waiver from their state chairperson).

Top three Junior and Cadet place winners at this event qualify for your state`s ASICS/Vaughan Junior and Cadet National Championship (July 18-26, 2014) teams above the state limit (in the age division in which you qualify). Athletes must still adhere to all state policies and you qualify in the style in which you place.

DO top three also earn seeding criteria for Fargo as in Yrs past ???

This came off USA wrestlings website: I believe you can register the day of.

ON-SITE REGISTRATION (Cash or Check):

Entry fee for participants registering at the door is $30 for competing in one style, $50 for competing in two styles, and $60 for competing in three styles. If registering on-site, the OFFICIAL WAIVER & REGISTRATION FORMS (click HERE) must be accurately completed and filed at registration. No prequalification required. No refunds for failure to compete.

In the past they would use state and even more so regional placing as criteria for seeding at Fargo , state FS and GR that is not sure how they do it or even the rules this yr but there are two months left plenty of time for everyone to get ready .

Big Camel be smashin next yr too :) not quite as old as haters trash talk say , go for 2x double AA good luck Team KY a lot of union X and A few CC kids going .Ryle represented as well . Not sure about all the classes but I expect Heidorf to do very well .

Brock at 145 ,nice group from KY No conversation on site , guess it may begin when the gun goes off .

Good luck boys a good gauge for Fargo kids making top three should have good shots at AA in Fargo .

Have not found Heidorf ???

BROCK WAS winning his first match got cut and seems he had to inj Def out his first two , hope he can come back tommorow a d if not hope he comes back soon as possible .

not sure who has done what still in early rounds .36 sec pin for ATM in first match , nice after a 3 yr layoff

AUSTIN techs Ford the Ohio State freestyle champ in the first period in the finals .

ATM central regionals freestyle champ only wrestling one FS match in 3 Yrs , very proud , Thanks to coach Yenter and coach Ray.saw a little he didn't look very rusty hitting a lot of guts and freestyle moves , tomorrow should be good and Fargo will be better !!! This yr and next fwimc

Congrats to all the kids who competed at central regionals and to those who went elsewhere sorry you missed out the Best were in Indy this weekend for sure.

Thanks coach Carr Yenter and the rest who make it possible .

170 Dominic Lampe was third or Fourth I believe but they did not update

220 Austin Myers 1st

GRECO

Cadets

100 YENTER

113 WELLS

both doubled

Joey Delong of Dixie competed as well

not sure who from Union wrestled Greco

Raynel Brown competed in FS along with some others and Austin won the 220 in Greco .

I think the team has been updated on the Fargo thread !!
