Have Jackson Oxford and Brian Hedrick faced against each other yet?
-
Now there is a possible match up of Brock and Sean Fausz. Hopefully they will be on opposite sides of the bracket at state.

I got a state ring at one of those schools you mentioned and no it wasn't st x. I'm not spouting positives because I don't know enough about their season this year as I have in years past. And St X is a great program. No need to down their history and past.

Nowhere was me or anyone else talking smack, downing a kid and his team. And I would talk up a team, but living out of town, it's hard to follow my alma mater, so I choose not to speak up about them or other teams I have been affiliated with through my family. This is a message board and if you don't like my opinion then ignore me, but my opinion was stated as the state tournament is not a given on who wins as a team or not. Kids get upset, teams get hot (St. X last year), and yes there are many variables. I will continue to respect Austin, and every persons opinions. Done speaking to this tarzan character. Now can someone teach me where the ignore button is again, please? Edit: nevermind, I was able to find the ignore preferences.

With the khsaa track record, do you honestly expect something to happen? They allowed in season transfers to happen last year, doubt they look at something that supposedly happened. Maybe they already told union their weight drop was allowed? I have no inside info.

The fact was team state champions are never a given. I know your son will win his third title, he's one of the best I've seen. Last year, you were guaranteeing a team title for Campbell county. How did that prediction work out?
-
You seem like the only one gettin all riled up by that. If they made the drop legally and in a healthy way, then I'm all for it. Most likely nothing will be done, risingtide160. Don't get all worked up over this issue. Let the kids wrestle.

Sounds like some of the banter of an overzealous parent that was spewed on here last year nonstop. If anything people should know is that state is unpredictable.

Interesting things from these results. First, I guess Saul is not wrestling middle school state since he missed districts this weekend. Second, we all finally see what we have been hearing, Trae, Brock, and Robbie dropped down a class.
-
If union does that, I firmly believe Dezember would be at that 120 weight class over Oxford. Interesting situation. Saul vs. Sapp, toss-up. Definitely can see Gray in the finals at 120 as well.

Diaz resigned?!

I was a sophomore in college when I turned 19. That's crazy.
-
Sorry someone got me side tracked.

Actually Noel changed schools and repeated sophomore year while rehabbing an injury then reclassified as a junior back to his normal graduating class.
-
15 should be a sophomore. 13 should be an 8th grader. Start kindergarten at age 5 usually so do the math and that's what you get. Didn't Mark Hall get held back and repeat 7th grade again after he moved to Apple Valley? People get held back all the time, which isn't that uncommon.

Former Union County wrestler Diante Wright is helping with the Taylor Co. Program.

I'm thinking he meant is McCracken Co. region 1.

2014 Preview - Results with seniors removed

Question, how was Blanton from Johnson Central a 7th grader this year when I know he wrestled Jeremiah Kline at high school state last year. Edit: nvm, I looked at the state brackets and it says he was in 8th grade. -
Due to complaints from a parent, I will not report on where a certain west ky wrestler is going to school.

I enjoy the heck out of reffing, but this is why I will never participate in reffing the postseason. For the people that constantly complain, I'd like to see others get out there and do this. I have more than once changed my call, and not afraid to do it as long as I reasonably believe the argument was correct.

Same thing I was thinking Otto

I believe I saw the best and the worst of St. X this year. Their showing at state was the complete opposite of what happened at mater dei. It was incredible to see what they did in the semi finals at state. I was more puzzled back in December watching them at the holiday classic. Way to go X.
