Great point. I know when Mason was in middle school he was going live a lot longer during the week of practice than he did on Saturdays. Stop the madness. Hell we should make all the kids practice in a singlet if that was is the case. I have been endangering my kid for years. Bad parent.

I think we should give them the choice. I love hearing about anything that would get more kids involved. It is funny hearing Adam talk about the 972 trainers opinions that they might get hurt wearing a shirt and shorts. Considering they practice 5 days a week in shorts and a tee shirt. Then they wrestle 2-5 matches that are a minute and a half long on any given weekend. I would say they would be OK. Lets look for positive solutions vs. negative feedback. Not to mention if i decided to wrestle in the bluegrass games i would prefer a shirt and shorts over a singlet. Which would you wear Adam?

Oh!! The big announcement. I remember that one. It wasn't a 100% accurate but it was a great accomplishment. Just a different weight class than announced. That should be enough for you to figure it out.

Ranger and I sat down on Tuesday and started updating rankings. We also started making phone calls to see who would be interested in wrestling. We don't not have a date set but we are working on the possiblitly of having the 2nd KY All Star Classic. If it happens it would be early October. Just for fun. What matches would you like to see?

It was great seeing so many kids from KY wrestling at this event. Good job to middle school and high kids that represented our state. I wish I had more pictures of all the kids that came. Maybe next year we can get them all together for a photo

We are waiting for the next round to start at Virginia Beach but Ranger is on his laptop now working on them. I will tell him to hurry up

Brackets are up on Track

Maybe we could use the middle school podium that coach Roth and I built. Not sure who has it now.

Looks like Meiman is back. He is listed @182 for Regionals.

Ranger and I went over all the Regional brackets that were posted last night. 4 of the 8 regions were up. We were scratching our heads looking at the seeding criteria. We noticed that some regions went off win% and overlooked the head to head. It looked like some coaches entered the head to head and some didn't bother. I have to say i was a little baffled that coaches would not do everything in their power to make sure their wrestlers were seeded correctly. I did think it was funny to see coaches put in the kids ranking under criteria. Maybe that trumps head to head.

Mason wouldn't stand a chance. Cole has the size advantage. Only hope would be Cole would hit Mason with a illegal slam and he could play possum. That is our only hope.
