Would you have any openings for middle school wrestlers or just high school? I have a 98lb 7th grader. Please let me know. We would be very interested if an opening was available. Thanks

I just read some of the positive thoughts about mason. He will be going 98 this year. I am glad that a few of you have such confidence in his ability. He has had a very busy off season. I can say that I have seen a lot of other kids putting a lot of time in this year as well. I could name quite a few we have had the pleasure of wrestling with this year. I would say I have high hopes for multiple kids tanner yenter, ryan moore, brady wells, blake roth, spencer carpenter, zane brown, nate wheeler, dallas miles, zach holub, trent johnson and the list go's on and on. I have seen all these kids and many more putting in time this entire off season. As far as mason I hope he has a great 7th grade year just like the rest of these guys. It amazes me how many kids in ky that are lifting and wrestling to get better. I can say as a dad I wish I had half their energy. It has been a very long summer. A lot of weights, hotel rooms,gas, and wrestling mats. I look forward to seeing mason and all these other kids compete this season. I believe it will pay off during the season. The kids and coaches we have worked with this year has been great. I can't say enough about all of them. Thanks for everything and looking forward to the season

We should be there. I hope to have the wrestling facility at my new house up and running by the first of September. I will keep you informed of the progress. You can bring your son and im sure I can round up a few guys our boys size that would love to roll around before the tournament. I have spoken to a few people about training in the future. I am very excited about the people that are going to be involved with making this facility possible. I will finally have people over to wrestle with my son. He is wearing me out. Thanks for the head's up on the tournament. I do know that Dave Barnes and Eric Cameron plan on have a wrestling camp prior to Super 32 to get the guys in wrestling shape. You asked me about coaches that me son loves to work with and these are two of his favorites. This would be a camp that you dont want to miss. I will keep you let you know as soon as they tell me a date. It was great seeing you guys this weekend.

I agree with the lack of participation for ky wrestlers. Ranger and I have put together multiple teams during this off season. I did amaze me how difficult is was to fill a team state wide. I would say it ended up being the majority of the same kids each time. I have said it multiple times that I bet those will be the same kids we see at state this year. We are weighing in tonight at summitview middle school from 630-730. We were going to the Michigan tournament but had a few issues with the team my son was going to wrestle for. We are going to stay close and go to lexington Saturday. I hope he has 3-4 matches but we will see. Hopefully he could wrestle in 2 different weights to get some more matches. I think he will go 98 and maybe 220. I heard there is a sophmore stud named Austin looking for a match. LOL. Empire hopefully you and your boys can make it.

We have put together a team for the summer mayhem duals. We have a few holes we are looking to fill. We will receive a 1 lb allowance the day of the tournament. This is for middle school wrestlers. Ranger, we have seen a lot of wrestling this off season. It might be about time to get spencer that blizzard and sit down to do some updates. You look a little thin in the mid and upper weights.

Your son was a class act. I would love to have a room full of kids just like him. I'm sure his coach in indiana feels the same way. You can tell Tristan that throw he did in his 3rd match was sweet. We took 2nd place as a team. This was a tough tournament. Many of our wrestlers faced kids from multiple states. Many of which were state placers and champs. They all wrestled hard and I am I very proud of each and everyone of them. I wanted to thank all the parents for making the trip and the ones who volunteered to work a table. It was a pleasure to meet many different kids and parents that made up our team. I was very thankful for you allowing me to coach your kids. I would take that team anytime. I cant say enough about each kid and family that was a part of it. Thanks again.

our 12 and under team still needs a 97,108,120,135. The tournament is this saturday. There are 7 youth teams and 6 middle school teams. We had a large turnout at practice tonight. We will be having another practice on Thursday. Everyone attending please make sure you weigh in. Also we will be collecting the $20 entry fee. See you Thursday.

I want to say good luck to all the ky bluegrass warriors headed to illinois today for the midwest nationals. I would like to thank coach meyers and wheeler for allowing us to be a part of it. There are some really talented kids on this team. Thanks again

The kids can wear any singlet they want. We have a full line up with some very good wrestlers. I read today that they have 6 ms teams so far. I imagine it will be a round robin. That will be great to have 5 matches or more. I am very excited for this team. Thanks again for everyone who is coming with us.

The ky wrestlers did a great job. There were almost a 1000 kids and I think the 25 we took represented the state well. I was so happy to see 25 ky wrestlers putting the time in during the off season. A big thanks to mark meyers for organizing the team. All the parents and kids we met were great. Good job ky.

There is a tough tournament on July 21st in Battle Creek Michigan. I saw that a High School team from Ky was going. Does anyone know the line up for the high school team? I plan on taking a few middle school wrestlers for the open tournament on Saturday. Sunday we will be wrestling duels for an Ohio team. This will be a very challenging tournament. I would love to see some more ky wrestlers attend. If anyone would like to join us let me know. The more ky wrestlers the better.

Our middle school team is missing a 145. Our youth team 12u is missing the following weights 91,97,108,120.135. Come on guys. All teams and states are welcome.

I cant say enough about Eric Cameron. My son has worked with muliple coaches for the last few years. He has experienced many different styles, attitudes, and techinques. I can say that the sessions he has done with Eric have been great. Anytime that Eric is doing a session my son gets excited to work with him. Eric has a way of looking at a wrestler and making corrections immediately to stance, shot, position, etc. There are a ton of coaches that I would highly recommend and Eric would be one of them. Not to mention his humility. You wouldn't know his accomplishments in wrestling unless you asked him. Class act!!!!

They can be an incoming freshman 14yrs old or younger. Ohio does it on last school year at most tournaments
