What will they be called on track?

Coach Thomas at Moore deserves a shoutout at least. He has done a tremendous job there building that program up to one of the most consistent programs in the state. I always like watching his wrestler wrestle. Moore has also developed a youth team which should help not only their program but the Jefferson county area. He's done a lot and deserves some credit.

I forget Larue is a small school makes sense. Just always used to them having a really good team. It happens with elite programs though

I understand five weeks till state, but at the same time I would like to see the best wrestlers wrestle here if healthy.

Not a team that is creeping out of the shawdows, but what has happened with Larue county?

Anybody know why Trinity and Male weren't at full strenght? If it was becasue of injury I could understand, any other reason idk why they wouldn't wrestle in the county tournament. I would like to pay to see the best wrestlers in our county wrestle the best wrestlers in our county. I personally think the county tournament should be treated as one of the biggest tournaments of the year. Seems by showing some don't think that way.

Also, is track up and running yet? Would be nice to get that going for those of us at work.

According to the JCPS coaching opportunities list there is a JV wrestling coach postion open and a varsity assistant coach spot open at Eastern High School.

If Hall is wrestling at 113 I like him to take state

Can someone give me a breakdown on the regions? I know they are new this year and not 100% sure about what schools are in what region. I want to do some region rankings, mainly for the jefferson county area.

Also to add on to disscusion maybe its just me, but we need more wrestling clubs in the jefferson county area. This is where most of the population is, and should be a gold mine to finding talent. The clubs that we do have are great with River City, Trintiy, Fern Creek, and Moore. Please add someone if I'm missing any. I've been away from the sport for awhile. We need one on the East end of town in the Westport Area, also down towards Manual High School if they don't already. I don't think they do could be wrong. That would be a golden opportunity imo espically with the UofL wrestling club and former wrestlers right there on campus at UofL or JCC. Could come over to Club practice and roll around with the young kids. Just food for thought guys. I have no clue on how to start one and what the limitations are but please feel free to message me.

Thanks everyone for the info! I will have them out by this weekend after looking over results! Mainly doing this for fun and the love of the sport. By no means am I trying to take Rangers spot. He does an awesome job at covering the state as a whole. Also as far as the district talk, I think we are fine with the current format on the high school level.

Have to give Ranger a lot of credit for doing these rankings. A lot goes into doing them. Keep up the good work Ranger. Appericate it.

Top four teams. 1. St X 2. Fern Creek 3. Trinity 4. Moore I'll expect Fern Creek to wrestle tough they beat Woodford in their Duals last week as well as Trinity. But then Trinity came out the next day and beat them in the team race the next day by about 25 points. Sure Coach mentioned that in practice. I would not be surprised if they won this tournament. But will also take into account JCPS schools didn't practice two days this week while Trinity and StX did I believe. Teams to look out for Eastern. I say this because they have a few guys that could get to the finals in Case, Hawes, and Bryant. Case and Hawes both made it to finals of Woodford, while Bryant placed 5th. Last week they all placed at Fern Creek. They also have a few other guys that could possibly place. Another team to look out for is J-town they also wrestled pretty well last week at Gladiator. They almost beat WV ( I know WV has a few guys hurt but still) in a dual last week. Also finished fifth at Gladiator. All in all this should be a very competitive tournament and always one of my favorites Champions at each weight 106- Kubanov0- Iroquois 113- Binder- St X 120- Poyter- Moore 126- Ducan- Trinity 132- Heidorf- Trinity 138- Bryant - Eastern 145- Kahal- Trinity 152- Lampe- St X 160- -Lampe- St X 170- Case - Eastern 182- Smith- Moore 195- Sweeden- Male 220- Scaggs- Fern Creek 285- Gibbs- Fern Creek Did weights based off what everyone wrestled last week from what I saw at gladiator. Not 100% on where Kahl is going because he wrestled 152 last week. Also does anyone know if Hall from Moore is wrestling he is like the two time defending champ of this tournament, but I can't find any results with him wrestling in them. If he isn't wrestling I change my pick to Vega of Fern Creek

Ranger has been doing a great job for years!

WCI has lost its touch a little bit. Dragon was always the toughest tournament of our year outside of state of course. We never went to Rumble or 5star. I would go with Dragon right now. WCI was our second toughest.

When does seeding come out? I always love and hated wrestling other schools from different states in this tournament. Never know what a kid is good at have to learn on the fly. Always a great tournament though

Hey guys I'm looking for a student assistant opportunity in the Louisville area. I have a lot of experience with wrestling, wrestled in middle school and High school. I'm only 19 so I'm not legally old enough to coach but I can take stats, video, etc.. I attend UofL also. Took a year away to get used to college, but I'm ready to get back in to it. I have a feeling that Moore will come out with a champion or two. Wither it be Hall, Willbanks, McDaniel, or Rosado, one of those guys will win it. I know they have had some injuries but everyone is a senior but hall, have to figure they will wrestle there hearts outs
