Brayden Sexton of Johnson County Middle placed at state last year and will be an eighth grader this year. I not sure if he is wrestling this year due to an injury in football. I will find out and let you know what weight.
-
Representing Kentucky well, Good Luck.
-
Actually 2 weight classes, 160 and 285. 285 was out due to injury, so he correctly picked 12 of 13. Pretty awesome.
-
About got your post tournament report ready, Always look forward to your reports. Keep up the great work.
-
Don't think he ever lost it. Only loss in state in the last 3 years was to Ben Barton who is wrestling D1.
-
Probably, noticed the record and thought that was required. Thanks.
-
I think to be eligible to compete in regional a wrestler needs 4 matches or weigh-ins. Correct me if I am wrong, I've not kept up to date with bylaws.

I was looking at Regional team entries and noticed that many teams had many open weight classes. The following teams had full line-ups for this weekend. Region 1 - Union County and Christian County Region 2 - Central Hardin, Larue Co, Meade Co, and Owensboro Region 3 - None Region 4 - Central, St. X, and Male Region 5 - Oldham Co. Region 6 - Campbell Co, Scott, and Simon Kenton Region 7 - Madison Co, and McCreary Co. Region 8 - Harrison Co. and Johnson Co.

2017 KSWA MS State Tournament Ranger Preview
VisionQuest replied to Ranger123's topic in Youth Wrestling
Thanks for the preview Ranger. Always enjoy looking at the past placers and how they have progressed on into high school. Lot of DNP in middle school doing quite well at the high school level. -
Please post state dual updates. Scores, weight drops, and comments about matches would be greatly appreciated. Little under the weather and not able to attend. Thanks and Good Luck.
-
I predict Black and Gold final. Johnson Central / Woodford County with JC on top.
-
Out wrestled and out coached.

2017 WSAZ Tournament in Huntington West Virgina
VisionQuest replied to Shady-Shady-Shady's topic in High School Wrestling
Johnson Central will be there. -
Should that be Saturday 4 FEB 1-4pm
-
Good Luck to the Union Co. Wrestlers too even though they keep going out of state too and ducking all these tough tournaments.
-
Nothing wrong with Johnson Central's schedule. Bobby Bates tournament (36 Teams), Agie Skeens ( Grundy Va. ), Army National Guard (Beckley, W. Va.) - 36 team dual tournament. WSAZ in Huntington W. Va. This week. They travel more than most and not a pushover schedule.
-
District 1 - 174 wrestlers District 2 - 29 wrestlers, 21 of these Larue County District 3 - 69 wrestlers District 4 - 75 wrestlers District 5 - 70 wrestlers District 6 - 96 wrestlers District 7 - 113 wrestlers District 8 - 118 wrestlers Region 1 - 203 Region 2 - 144 Region 3 - 166 Region 4 - 231 Realignment needs to be looked at by the KMSWA. I know travel is an issue for teams. Shift a few teams from district 1 to district 2 a possibility. Possibly move a team from district 7 or 8 to another. Little too late for this year but possible for next year.
-
Use those Internet skills you have and do a little searching to find out. LOL
-
Thought every team had entered rosters, look at numbers again later. Thanks for clarifying.
-
Saw on wvmat.com that Johnson Central and Woodford County both entered. 36 team dual tournament. Possible top 5 match-up.
-
Wondering dates of regionals, state duals, and state tournament. Any help appreciated.

What are the locations for regionals and state duals this year.
