They do not max on incline its an assisting move for us and we use dumbbells usually we superset them with flyes same for cleans we do clean and presses usually or dumbbell lunge presses one of our favorite and very wrestling oriented moves Austin is nearing 300 on the bench and 500 on DL we have always focused more on Deadlifts than squats Stephen was very good at squats but Austin and Max Byrd whom I used to train had a lot of problems with them when tey were young I cut them out in favor of safer and actually more benificial wrestling moves like DL they do however squat on occasion Austin reps upper 3 s no problem sure he could hit low 4s an more with focus , Stephen isn't as much into lifting but benches close to 250 as far as Deadlifts go he is not as adept as his brother but is still fairly strong probably close to 4 but sloppy nice low 3s .same on the squat for him . I have them hit clean and presses I like the assisting and the extra conditioning an explosiveness of the move . In season giant set clean and press , lunge press ,chins , fly and presses. All in a row . Start with a few pullovers to get warmed up then some medicine ball moves and hyper extension rows after . That's in season quick and hard 3 to 5 giants depending on how they do or what mood I'm in or what they need or if I'm pissed lol Its a perfect routine . We have chains ropes tires sandbags and some fun stuff we do to keep it interesting, and our secret weapon the sled from hell lol I expect Austin to break all three SLP records for the state next year 5 + DL 350 + bench and the total he is an excellent dead lifter but is not made for benching he has very long arms good for wrestling bad for strength pressing moves lb for lb he is stronger than Stephen although Stephen will argue the fact .i have seen Austin clean 225 I have no clue what he could max I'm not into breaking kids wrists he does a lot of heavy 1 arm dumbbell snatches from the floor he is explosive and deceptively quick because of hi training I believe . I hate giving him over to football coaches he has a lot of knowledge an has been trained by some of the strongest power lifters in the state and on the planet it's kind of like he should be showing them .one of my friends who works with them has squated over 1000 lbs and is insane another weighs 180 ish an squats 900 + for reps on a bench and hits 110 lb dumbbell snatches for reps my wife is a 4 x oh open pl champ and myself a 6x er they grew up in a gym .
