Friday & Saturday, January 2-3, 2009

24 Team Dual Meet event

Knightdale is a "new" school in Wake County, North Carolina (6 miles East of Raleigh)

Event is run on 8 or 9 mats

Each team will wrestle 8 duals

Friday:

Teams will be seeded into 6 pools of 4 teams each.  Each team will wrestle 3 duals.

Saturday:

Pool winners will wrestle in Division I

2nd place in pool will wrestle in D-II

3rd place in pool will wrestle in D-III

4th place in pool will wrestle in D-IV

Each team will wrestle 5 dual meets

Excellent competition that includes the 2008 NC 1A/2A State Duals and Tournament Champions - Orange HS, and 2007 NC 4A State Dual Runner-up - West Forsyth.  This is a competitive event that is structured to provide your team with competition that has a similar ability level.

Nice, Custom-made, glass trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and MOW in EACH division!

Conveniently located near RDU airport and Raleigh

Many hotels nearby

The best hospitality room around (my father smokes the BBQ for a day-and-a-half prior to the event!)
