MagicBone 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2007 The sport that was refused and denied its respect, the sport that was only known for tight spandex and grabbing on one another while all sweaty,has began to dominate something called MMA...It's truely amazing how MMA is beginning to show the greatest athletes in the world and their potential to dominate this sport....In figure a wrestler cant go into a MMA fight and just plan on wrestling,because you have the best stand up fighters in the cage or ring with you or maybe the best grappler on the ground,BUT FINALLY WRESTLING,lthough is aired on ESPN every year for the NCAA tournament and even those satellite channels for big dual matches with Big 10 schools,wrestlers are making the mark and people are finally saying DAMN,teach me to wrestle!!!You have to admit everybody it makes you feel really good inside..There are alot of wrestlers here in Kentucky that has actually even started MMA e.g. Robbie Browning(Bourbon County 04) Derek Sawyer(Eastern 03) and more!! pinningone 0 Report post Posted August 10, 2007 The main reason wrestlers dominate MMA is because no one else is as mean as a wrestler, we are trained to be aggressive and to be unstoppable, and be relentless in battling no matter how badly we are being beaten.
