Our school is 6th-12th grade. We have elementary, middle, and high school wrestling programs with a solid booster club. We hope to receive a new wrestling room in the next few years as the district is supposed to upgrade athletic facilities. We have 3 feeder elementary schools with one of those being on the front lawn. Our principal is a former two time state champion and high school all American. We have teaching positions open currently and expect a few more subjects to open up in the spring. CoachGardner 2 Report post Posted June 17, 2023 Head Coaching Position available at Spencer County High School. Multiple teacher openings in district at all 3 levels. At HS there is Science and Social Studies openings. Why it’s a good position: 1. Feeder program has been established for 4 years. Actually will see strong results because of it over the next 2 years. 2. A 66’x45’ space to practice in. 3. $9,000 start up money to buy mat or whatever you think will build program the right direction. 4. Small town atmosphere. Community support is there. We have had 30+ parents at the meetings prior to tournaments and fundraisers. 5. They district is in the process of improving pay for all coaches and staff. 6.
