Any update on when practice can start

With the start of games for fall sports this week, I was wondering if we’re any closer to getting a decision on when wrestling can start practicing. Big preseason tournaments are coming up quick, and our kids are falling behind the rest of the country.

From what Ive seen, it will be voted on by the board of control at KHSAA. That being said, their next meeting is not till Sept 16th. Im my opinion, after watching Dr. Stack on the Dept of Education meeting, we will be lucky if we wrestle.  Im hoping they will consider pushing us to spring if they dont want it this winter,  just give us an opportunity. But for now, we are still on hold

Thanks Scotty.  I think that if there are not any outbreaks from any of these fall sports, they are going to have a hard time convincing me we can’t move forward with the season
