Some of the top teams attending include: Thompson HS, Alabama Layfayette Jeff HS, Indiana Jennings County HS, Indiana Charlotte HS, Florida Park Vista HS, Florida Easton HS, Pennsylvania Team Defiant, Pennsylvania Mallard Creek HS, North Carolina Science Hill HS, Tennessee Tennessee HS, Tennessee Ashland HS, Ohio Evansville Memorial HS, Indiana Others to be added as confirmed soon! The 2016 Valhalla Duals will be held on June 17-18 in Bristol, Tennessee. After our highly successful inaugural tournament last summer, interest in this year’s tournament has been overwhelming! This season we will accept 28 high school teams. Each team will compete in a minimum of 8 matches. Teams should include wrestlers from the same high school, no more than three wrestlers outside the school. No graduated seniors please. Special Awards will be given to both finalist teams. If you have never been to Viking Hall in beautiful Bristol, Tennessee, you are in for a treat. This is the premier facility in our area for a wrestling tournament. We have stadium style seating for over 5,000 spectators. In addition, if you want to make a nice summer trip out of the experience there are nice hiking trails including the Appalachian Trail within a few mins drive, several lakes, golf, great shopping including Bass Pro Shops, Cabellas, and other entertainment. NFHS Folkstyle rules. Weight classes are NFHS plus 5. Seven full size mats. We use only State Certified Referees. Entry Fee: $400 per team -- Payment Deadline May 15th -- If tournament fills up, first 28 paid entries will be accepted.
