bulldog-leader 56 Report post Posted January 12, 2015 Even though it was not a big tourney I wanted to give the Bulldogs of Holmes a big shout out. It's been a loooooong time since they had this kind of showing in any tourney. They filled 11 wt. classes and an extra at 160. At 113 probably would have won the match for 1st but had an injury default. The team is almost at 100%. They have one more wt. class they can fill 132. Should have 12 wrestlers at the Regional tourney. Also a big shout out to Coach Price who has gotten kids out and keeping them out. Coach Cooper at the middle school level also gets some credit for this. Maybe just maybe there will finally be some red uniforms with a big "H" on the podium in region. BadMadDad 16 Report post Posted January 12, 2015 The kids from Holmes were all very aggressive and wrestled well. As always, your Holmes kids are some of the most respectful and humble kids around. I do believe Holmes will have a few at the state tourney this year. Seth Hille is a monster and a very fun kid to watch. Little Payne is going to be a force at HS once he can get a few lbs on him.
