TAKE DOWN TOURNAMENT

EAST OLDHAM MIDDLE SCHOOL

November 23^rd

1^st Thru 8th Grade JV

 

Format:  This event will be take downs only with a three minute running clock. If a wrestler scores 5 takedowns in a row that will be considered a technical fall. Eight man brackets using the ten percent rule.

Wrestlers 1^st thru 8^th are eligible they must have a USA League card. The middle school grades 6-8^th the wrestler can’t be a varsity starter on their middle school team unless they are a first year wrestler. There must be at least one coach with a USA coach’s card per team.

 

Divisions:  Wrestlers will be grouped by grade.  (1-2  3-4  5-6  7-8) Wrestlers that haven’t entered 1^st grade yet are welcome they will be grouped with the 1-2 graders.

 

Cost:  10.00 per wrestler/ Wrestlers and coaches must have a USA Card. Coaches must show their card at the door to get in at no charge. Coaches are responsible for making one payment at the head table before each session starts.

There will be a 5.00 dollar admission charge for adults and 3.00 dollars for school age children.

 

Location:  EAST Oldham Middle School:  1201 Kentucky 22, Crestwood, KY 40014

           

Morning Session:      1^st-2^nd  /  3^rd-4^th   Grade Check In 7:30-8:30am Wrestling starts at 9:00

Afternoon Session:   5^th-6^th  / 7^th-8^th  Check In 11:30-12:30 Wrestling starts at 1:00
