Pinned 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2013 I think the weight check was a great ideal yes it is youth wrestling and the sad thing is you can't trust all the coaches. I think all tournaments should be this way. I give correct weight info on our wrestlers and when they get to a tournament and a kid that is 10 pounds to heavy to be wrestling in that weight class it is very unfair to all the other kids in that bracket. If you or the child that is chowing down on his way to a tournament is serious about wrestling then this is something they will need to be getting used to. I love this was an awesome tournament it was run very smooth and was some really good match ups on the mat. This was also the first every wrestling tournament in this area. We will for sure mark this tourney as a must attend in any future tournaments. Great job to the Taylor county area for hosting a great tournament. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
