Otterbein University, located just north of Columbus, Ohio, is set to begin its first season of competition in more than 40 years! Thanks to Head Coach Brent Rastetter, the program's resurrection is picking up serious momentum leading up to the start of the NCAA wrestling season. The schedule is set, the wrestlers are on campus, and the preparation has begun. Competing in the Ohio Athletic Conference, Otterbein University will be in the hunt for conference and national titles right from the start. November 8, 2014 National Western Complex Denver, CO. Monster Match Nationals is continuing the tradition of selling out in it’s 13th year of being the best way to start your season. With all 3 periods starting in the neutral position, there is no doubt the cobwebs will be swept away. Are you ready to win the biggest and best awards in the country? Come see if you have what it takes, to be a REAL MONSTER OF THE MAT! Tournament Information Divisions K - 12th Grade, Rookie Divisions, & Open Divisions Registration Registration is $45.00, deadline for online registration is Nov. 3rd, 2014 at midnight. Register before Oct. 3rd and receive a $5 discount. Register @ RMNEvents.com. Limit: This year we expect to sell out, the first 1500 wrestlers will secure a spot. Small Coolers are allowed* More info 19 Mats of competition, don't miss out! 2 Tier 4 Column Trophies for 1st place - over 45’’ tall. 2nd place - over 30’’ tall & 3rd over 25’’ tall New Custom Medals for 4th - 6th Place Weigh Ins Friday November 7th from 4pm to 6pm at the National Western Events Center (Please check website for age group weigh in times). Wrestlers who do NOT make weight will have to pay a re-registration fee of $20 unless weight insurance has been purchased. (Note: 15 & Under, 18 & Under, and Open Divisions will receive a 2lb allowance.) Rules For a full set of rules please visit the website at RMNEvents.com Transportation & Housing Relax, RMN has done the ground work you! We understand traveling can be hectic and finding a good hotel close to the venue is always a hassle, so stop by the RMN website and browse through the list of hotels that RMN has gathered for you.
