Knights Wrestling Club will be hosting a Greco/Freestyle Clinic and Competition day on Sunday, April 16th, 2023 in Knights Hall! This clinic is designed to help introduce Freestyle and Greco-Roman to athletes and give wrestlers the opportunity to get live matches and enjoy the opportunity to compete. Technicians will include Bellarmine University Head Coach Ned Shuck and Staff. The team's Seniors and their families will be honored prior to the start of the dual. As always, youth and high school coaches can get free admittance for their athletes by emailing their full roster with grade level and age to ebowers01@bellarmine.edu. High School wrestlers also need their school or state ID with them as well. This is the last opportunity of the season for our Knights Wrestling Fanbase to catch their athletes in action at home!! The Bellarmine Knights Wrestling team won their first home dual of the season in exciting fashion, defeating Lindenwood University 23-15. The Knights won five matches, with 4 bonus point victories. The dual was capped off with an electrifying pin by Thadd Huff at heavyweight to seal the win. You can find a video of the pin at Bellarmine Athletics (@buknights) The environment at the match was extremely rowdy, and it made it an awesome experience for the competitors and the spectators. We want to thank everyone who came out and showed support to our program! Events like this help unite Kentucky wrestling and inspire young athletes to pursue their dreams. We hope to continue to pack Knights Hall for our home events and build our fan base!
