Yes. The Army decided to move us one more time before I could retire. We are now in El Paso TX. I want to say thank you for everyone that went out of their way to make us feel at home while we were in Kentucky. We had an amazing time while we were here and didn’t want to leave. This was Andrew last weekend wrestling at Freakshow rocking his Ryle gear from his favorite drilling partner!

You know what would help? If people had 1!!!! Just 1 track wrestling profile! Kids have more track profiles than CIA agents! Some do it on purpose change the fist name add an initial cool nicknames! It’s BS. My son has had the same one for 8 years so don’t post No BS!

Question, Since our county has no middle school that has a wrestling program can our son wrestle for someone else?

We live in Bullitt County. My son is Andrew Tarango. I tried going on the county website to see if there’s any documents on what the process is and/or if there are some schools that would take him for the wrestling season none to be found on the process.

The problem is the we are mixing Middle school with YOUTH Wrestling. The two should not even touch! USA wrestling has divisions and we should wrestle those. I want to know how the money all plays in to it. I know for a fact more kids participate in “Sunday” youth tournaments than middle school “Saturday” tournaments! Yet some how a TON of money gets spent on the middle school state and peanuts on youth state. In Texas if you wrestled 1 match as a varsity in HS you were not allowed to wrestle at youth state, AND in order to wrestle youth state you had to at a MIN wrestle at 3 youth tournament to qualify for state. I don’t know how you cannot participate in any!!!! Youth or middle school events and just show up for regionals and state!! You did not SUPPORT the origination all year but you will show up for the prizes?

I will be singing up my son and a few other team members today. Hope the number of wrestlers goes up.

44 dad my post is pointed at the fact that for some reason Every tournament we go to breaks down brackets to no larger than 16! As a matter of fact the last five tournaments I have put my son into he has won his bracket and so has another kid same weight same tournament same age group yet they have never wrestled! And this weekend it’s happening again Ferncreek same tournament same weight same age group different brackets so they don’t exceed 16 man brackets. I was also told that is the same case for the state tournament they will have three or four “state champions” for the same weight same age! It is crazy to me!

I think KY wrestlers were scared to wrestle there! brackets were bigger than 16 man and we all know we can’t have that!
