Don't apologize! It's middle school wrestling! Parents are actually upset cause their kids aren't ranked where they think they should be??!! you are exactly right it's the overzealous dad!! I would rather my son not even be ranked!! Who cares except the dads that think their kids are going to be in the olympics in 2028! The odds of that happening are slim to none!! You should be more worried about where your son is ranked amongst his peers academically!! If you people cared as much about academic rankings like you do these bs wrestling rankings we would be better off! Rankings don't win matches or your opinions of where your son should be ranked!!!

That's exactly why Kentucky wrestling is behind the 8 ball! It's like everybody wants second option for their kid to place or win a medal! Good wrestler compete in MS! If your new or not as talented you wrestle in youth! That's like saying a travel baseball team loses a competitive tournament and they want to win a medal so they go and play the local little league rec tournament so they can win! It's life people you are either good or not! If your kid loses he loses! He needs to work harder! You don't put him in youth so he can win a medal!

Nobody worthwhile in eastern ky anyways!!!

coaches and parents that are having kids wrestle youth just so the kid has a better chance to win are doing a disservice to the kid! Losing is growing! You should always want your kids competing against the best competetion

I'm a old man so trying to figure this out, basically the youth tournament isn't as good as middle school tourney?? Are there any good youth wrestlers out there that could win state in middle school??

Is there any kids wrestling from pikeville or prestonsburg in state this weekend?
