    Program Health

JV individual tournaments would probably be more realistic to host in order to get JV kids tournaments. The problem that you will run into is not having enough assistants to take kids to JV tournaments. This is where a strong youth program will help. Youth programs generate funds that can be used to give 'stipends' for assistant HS coaches. Schools rarely are willing to pay for more than one assistant. You just have to get creative.

Pre-K through 6th grade Elementary Duals

There are some great places to eat, shop and visit in Columbus. The Commons is downtown and features a huge indoor playground. There are many different obstacles that kids can play on, all for free. There is a food court as well. Across the street is the Kids Commons. It is like a mini-children's museum. http://www.kidscommons.org/ There is an outlet mall located in Edinburgh which is about 10 minutes from downtown Columbus. A whole host of restaurants, breweries, and eateries to choose from. Upland Brewery, The Garage, Johnny Carrino's, 5 Guys, Joe Willy Burgers, Texas Roadhouse, Taku (Japanese Steakhouse/Hibachi), to name several.

KY MS and Youth State Tournaments

Hey all, First, I made a new profile because we are moving to Columbus, IN from Seymour. I will be helping build the Columbus North youth program. I will be holding several Elementary (K-6) dual meets this year. We also have an individual tournament. We are looking at doing a super 8 dual on December 10th and the individual tournament on February 11th. I was wondering when your youth/MS state tournament will be?
