    NCAA coaches rankings are out.

    Sean Fausz 3rd at 125

    Nathan Boston 25th at 133

Hwt. Has 33 wrestlers named...no Austin Myers .

Hard to get ranked when you're not on the mat. Still think he can qualify for NCAA with a top 3 finish at MAC championships.  But right now I suspect he's more concerned with just making the lineup. His absence is puzzling since most expected a big jump forward his RS Soph year and 2nd full yr training with Mizzou. I'm guessing a nagging injury but who knows?

  2. Article from last Friday makes it sounds like Mizzou just isn't sure who their starting HWT is right now:

"In the heavyweight match, the Tigers continued on the heavyweight carousel that has been the story of the 2017-18 season. In Thursday's dual, it was Dante Jiovenetta who got the green light from Smith. Unfortunately, the redshirt freshman out of Florida couldn't get the victory, as he lost by decision in his seventh match of the season.

Smith appears to be still searching for consistency n the heavyweight slot. Throughout this season, the Tigers have thrown several wrestlers onto the mat in the heavyweight spot, including Rodrigo Diaz and Austin Myers. Regardless of whose name is in the lineup for the Tigers, the meat of the order continues to carry the team to victory, and the team holds the fourth spot in the NWCA rankings."

I think with Fix dropping a match and getting hurt they are leaning more towards him sitting out this year and also speaking of Sean and Fix Sean wrestled him in a close 2-1 loss

I'd give edge to Fausz if they were to meet again. He was coming back from a couple weeks off and it still took a takedown in final 10 seconds to best him.

Fifth place bracket ? no such thing your a complete wrestling idiot he was in the consos after losing in ot to Boykin a top ranked wrestler and going for third ..

what was the highest place he could get after losing in quarters?  this tourney is set up weird.

good to see all the KY guys making strides early in the season. could be a banner year for KY at the Conference tourneys and NCAAs

  5. Tylan bounced back and won the Raider Rumble this weekend cause that's what kids who work hard do.  They rise above early season losses and criticisms from the parents who don't even have a child wrestling in high school to show they're proven winners.

btw: Saw Austin took another loss this weekend in the dual with Ohio U.  Only one of two Mizzou wrestlers to lose in that dual.  I'm sure he will bounce back from it tho. He's a stud.  Everyone takes an L from time to time.

  6. Bryce and Trent both could be D-1 wrestlers.

Ryan Moore for sure.  Hell even Brady Wells too.

Dante Castellano just committed to Campbell to wrestle D-1 under Kolat.

Max could probably get a D-1 school to bite after his dominant senior yr and consistent top placings

Don't think its unreasonable to see Joey Roberts at a small D1 school not sure if he's gonna hit national tournaments now.

Blanton from Johnson Central also deserves mention even though he's chosen to play D-1 baseball in college.

Thats a good combo for sure.,Having parents who understand what it takes and.will give a coach who will go.the extra miles is important to having a top team wrestling is a sport unlike others it takes more work outside the room and even at the dinner table and.to be one of.the best its a yr round effort from.coaches and.everyone involved .

How many practice rooms have you been banned from in how many states? I lost count.

  8. "Why didnt you just post a thread and say look at me.im.the shizzzznit."

Uh did this person really just post THIS kinda statement???!?  He who spends 75% percent of his waking hours posting on various message boards (until he's banned) about how great he is at coaching, training and fathering despite not being an actual coach. Wow. Pot meet kettle.
