The wrestling season is quickly approaching and I would like to invite your team to participate in the 2022 Barnesville Wrestling Invitational held on December 16-17. This is a very competitive early season tournament with many top-ranked (returning state placers and state champions) wrestlers from, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. I understand that many teams may have their schedule set for the season, however, if you would like to only send your top wrestlers to this event, this would be an excellent opportunity for them to have some early season competition to use as a measuring tool for the remainder of the season. This would also be a chance for you to see if our tournament is something you would be interested in next season. There will be college recruiters at this event as well, (a great opportunity to get your wrestlers noticed) Currently, we have 24 teams committed and an estimated 8-12 ranked wrestlers in each weight class (based on weight class predictions for this season). I am contacting the top wrestlers in each weight in all divisions in Ohio and Pennsylvania to invite them into the tournament as well. Each season wrestlers from this tournament will place in their respective state tournaments. I have a projected list of returning wrestlers I can share if you are interested. 55th Barnesville Doan Ford Wrestling Invitational Barnesville High School Barnesville, Ohio 43713 Barnesville Schools would like to invite your wrestling program to the 55th Annual Doan Ford-Barnesville Wrestling Invitational. The tournament will be held on December 16-17 and will feature 26 schools from Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Virginia. We are currently looking to add a few teams to the tournament to ensure that it remains as competitive as it has been in the past. Many wrestlers that compete in this tournament have excelled throughout the remainder of the season, and I believe that is due to the early exposure to a high level of competition. As the tournament director, I can promise you that I am determined to make this one of the best wrestling experiences for you and your program. I ask that you please look at your schedule to determine if you can be a part of our tournament and contact me as soon as possible to reserve your spot. Wheeling Park top 5 AA WV school. Over 65 returning State qualifiers or placers were in this years tournament. Very good early season tournament to evaluate your team. The 48th annual Barnesville Doan Ford Invitational will be accepting applications from interested teams for the 2017-2018 season. Double elimination tournament on December 8-9, 2017.
