That is correct. Very, very, very good team. 2 Champs. 9 guys placed in the top 4, 11 in the top 6, 13 overall placers.

Criteria #3 Placement at last year's state championships. Will this be at the same weight class? I know that in the past it was specified that it was at the same weight class.

Region 2 has 21 teams in it. Granted alot of teams aren't full line ups but you are going to see a lot of fuller 16-man brackets with the possibility of 1 or 2 going over.

Dylan Walls has had a hell of a week!!!

Was it Addison or Olivia Messerly? According to Trackwrestling Olivia hasn't wrestled all year, Addison has been wrestling 113 in Ryle's previous matches. In the Trinity vs. Ryle dual Addison wrestled. Can ayone shed some light on this?

I was just talking about this with my staff. I sure wish they would give us some guidance on how state is gonna work. There is gonna be a lot of maneuvering going on if they only qualify the top 2 from each Region. I just think of last year in region 2, 1st, 2nd, 4th were all from the same region... One of those kids wasn't gonna qualify to state!!! If we do go to the top 2 qualifying... there needs to be some sort of wrestleback for a true 2nd. 2nd wrestles 3rd to determine who goes to state. Regions 1 and 6 will sure get the shaft if it comes down to that

Paducah Tilghman has been pretty active. They have a few dates under their belts already.

Shew, good luck with that. I know for sure that state tournament will not be at the Horse Park this year, I am even less sure that state tournament will be 16 man brackets. Sure wish we would have gotten a ideal of what everything is gonna look like BEFORE season starts. The lack of communication stinks.

At the moment, their season is slated to start Feb. 1 with a board meeting on Jan. 19th to decide how to proceed. If JCPS were to cancel the season, it sure would make things a mess.

Small oversight, but Region 7 (311.5) is ranked above Region 2 (324.5) thank you for what you do man.

St. X and Ryle are both gonna be contenders for sure.
