Congrats on skipping a grade too!

Its all top secret until regional seedings. You know the coaches don't really like rankings anyway. This is all for us.

Looks like a some great match-ups could happen there. 1 vs 2 at 145- Merritt v Pogue 1 vs 2 at 170- Stevens vs Little 1 vs 2 at 152- Carr vs Conner 1 vs 4 at 160- Russelburg vs Aldridge 2 vs 6 at 138- Insko vs Rider 4 vs 5 at 126 Walls vs Wells Plus all kinds of ranked Tenn kids. Most of the top kids in state will be there. About 50 teams listed.

Merritt- Pogue was 7-5. It won match of the tourney.

I hear rumors of a few. Only 1 I see so far is Meyer going to 113/115. Who else is?

152 is shaping up to be tough. Carr and Conner have had some battles. 3-6 can be anyone's. They all keep beating each other. Gonna be a fun regional tourney.

We’ve gotta see what weight all the kids are at after getting the 2 pounds. There might be some changes. Heard Hunter Jenkins has been hitting the weights and is gonna go up to 113.

Plus a trip to Graham for a dual with them and Mason. Some Northern Ky teams go to Ohio and see some tough competition, but none tougher than Graham, Whitfield, Mason, and Mater Dei.

All of region 1 will be there besides Union. Should be lots of great matchups. Lots of jockeying for regional seedings. Lots of kids dropping weight classes. Be exciting to see where all the kids fall. I’d like to see Rider vs Grant-Hall part 2. Walls vs Wells. See who wants 106.

Union has the Bryce Sheffer Memorial Duals on Jan 18.

Well, my boy is 2-19 with his 2 wins beating both Bob and Joe. He should be number 1!

He also has a loss against Grimsley at 138.

I think it shows how tough our region is. McCracken put together a good team. Ohio County is getting better. Caldwell has some great young wrestlers.

It’s crazy how those 2 teams matched up.

Had a lot of kids go 5-0 that didn’t get to wrestle each other. Union didn’t wrestle Johnson Central or Ryle. Ryle didn’t wrestle Oldham. Oldham didn’t wrestle Carr.

It’s on track.

I believe it 100%. It’s a team sport. Do think Matthias Ervin and Payne Carr would be where they are without the bumps in their roads?

I know Union is taking a few. Any others going from team Ky?

How crazy is it that the brackets are on Track and the live matches are on Flo. Gonna have to set up a command center to keep up.

I’d love to see Russellburg vs Lawrence. Father Ryan could have some great matchups. Merritt vs Pogue, Stevens vs Little, Matthias Ervin vs Skyler Coffee.

I think it makes it more exciting. People are always asking me who people are while I'm in the stands.

I keep getting reports of guys being ineligible and some that are hurt. I’ll update rankings after this weekend again and take out the people that haven’t wrestled and add them in as they do. If you think I’m missing people, let me know.

Micah, Matthias, Dalton Russellburg, Payne Carr, Gabe Adams and Stephen Little are going to Ironman. The rest are going to the Rumble. Erock Bacon, Davis Pike, Quinton Cox, Tristan Moore, Mathew Moore, Hunter Pogue, and Spencer Wyatt will fill in. Trayce Eckman, Trevor Pogue, Jake Insko, Darius, Elijah, Glenn, Cameron, and Gavin will be there. Should be a competitive team.
