Saul beat a kid at the Mater Die Classic who placed 4th in the Indiana state tournament last year.Beat some of the top kids in Tennessee at GP West and wrestled some very tough competition in St Louis he for sure has had an impressive year and I'm pretty sure he didn't do to bad in wrestle backs at super 32 And Lampe beat a 1or2 ranked kid in Indiana at Mater Dei to if I'm not mistaken

And with Moore competing in some tough preseason tournament's I don't think the big stage of the state tournament will have him to shook

Off the top of my head undefeated with 25 or more wins ATM. Saul Ervin. Dominic Lampe. Nicholas Walls. I can't think of anyone else without at least 1 loss

I think what he meant by there will be no talk about 113 120 and 220 is the fact that 120 and 220 have dominate wrestlers basically stating a fact that no one is beating Austin I don't think he meant anything negative

Vega just wrestled a 6-3 match over the weekend and has had close matches all year long what makes you so sure he is all of a sudden untouchable?

This group of union wrestlers is tough but the kids they have coming up in the next few years have the potential to be the best team union has ever put on the mat

I think Saul has earned the number 1 spot but Yenter is right there behind him

Vega seems to be on a roll at the right time

Kaleb Hammons might not have a physical look that jumps out at you but this past weekend he wrestled a 2-1 match with Sapp I could see him sneak on to the podium

I think the bigger Oxford has a shot at a state title

I think region 1 has a shot at 3 state champs and a very very high number of placers

I don't think it's crazy to say this years state tournament will be more exciting than last years

Just wondering why is Woodford not a fit for this tournament?

It's a shame because I believe given the right coach that area has a lot of potential

The state to the south is doing some pouting after the Hoptown tournament... Mt. Juliet went up with 9 wrestlers and placed 3rd as a team . I will say though if you were from TN. , you got no love at all. They let to many wrestlers out of moves with potential danger. If they even moaned they called potential danger. I will say no TN wrestler was crying out for a let up. Some of the matches looked like kids were taught to moan or yell if on their back, to be let up. This had nothing to do with any M.J matches. This was just something a bunch of us were noticing from the stands in a lot of different matches and I'm talking A BUNCH of them. We were actually cracking jokes about it because there was some award winning acting. There were some great matches. I believe it was Calloway county, that won it by a landslide. Henry 1st, Wilkins 1st, Edens 2nd, Helm 3rd ,O'Brian 4th, Benson 5th, Horner 3rd, Charest 4th (5 match rule forfeit) Perkins dnp. There were way to many 3/4 and 5/6 place matches that were 5 match rule. A lot were double forfeit's. I'de say at least half of them were not wrestled.

Has anyone other than union and Calloway qualified for small school ?
