  1. Higher Calling Wrestling in Cleveland, TN needs a 100p plus 1 Elementary (k-6) for our TRYANT duals team next Sunday. Bus is leaving Cleveland, TN Friday at 6am. Weigh ins are Friday night. Saturday is the Crusade which is an individual tournament. The TRYANT Columbus Day Duals are Sunday and you will get 5 matches. Cost is $50 which includes bus, hotel, Dinner Friday and Sat night, Breakfast Sat and Sunday. If you want to do the crusade you have to register and pay for it yourself.   2. This Saturday Oct 3rd, Higher Calling is hosting our 2nd Jonesfest camp of the preseason. @ Jones Wrestling Center in Cleveland, Tn just outside of Chattanooga. Last one we had 72 hammers from 4 states. There are a number of very high level kids committed to this camp. This camp is open to all high to intermediate level kids who want get a chance to roll with some new kids, get some high level technique, and have a blast. Runs 10am to 4pm and cost is $40. Age range is k-12. One thing that separates our wrestlefest from all the rest is that we get more high level kids in all age groups and weight ranges from the little guys through the very big high schoolers. We will have great competition for every wrestler that comes.
  3. Jonesfest 4th Annual Preseason Lock-in This Saturday August 22nd at noon till Sunday Aug 23rd at noon at the Jones Wrestling Center 850 Raider Drive, Cleveland, TN 37311. We are just outside of Chattanooga. 24 hours....no sleep....new workout every hour on the hour. What better way to test mental toughness to get the season started??? Higher Calling youth and Middle School crew will be there plus the Cleveland High School wrestler will be there too....any other takers? This is the 4th year for our 24 Hour lock-in. This is the official kick-off of our season.. Last year we had 64 kids who survived the 24 hour lock-in and they are all coming back again this year. This event is one of our most popular events every year and this year just like last year it we are opening to any advanced wrestlers who want the start their season off with a bang... Cost is $65 for non club members and $25 for Club members. Anyone who attended at least one of Bosken's weeklong camps will get the $25 club price for this event. Each series we will share the techniques and skills that we have developed and have helped our program, Higher Calling and Cleveland, reach the level of success that we have thus far. This is the 6th year that Coach Bosken has been at Higher Calling. Cleveland High School, our High School that Higher Calling feeds into has now won 4 straight Higher School titles thanks mainly to the boys that the House of Bosken is sending them each year. This year Higher Calling had the largest group of wrestlers of any club that went to TNAAU state tournament and 1 out of every 3 of his wrestlers made the state finals. There were 13 HIGHER CALLING state champions in 2015 including One Ga State Champion. Higher Calling scored a combined 635.6 points at the TNAAU state tournament which was 320 more points than any other team. This was the largest margin of victory in TN state tournament ever. The House of Bosken produces champions and our camp will make your wrestler better. Cleveland HS- 3X consecutive Dual and Individual State Champs - 28 HS State Placers in last 3 years ALONE - 13 State Finalist in last three years - First 4X STATE CHAMP in school history this year -USAW Fargo Runner-Up Higher Calling- Back to Back MS Sate and overall Club State Champs -20 State Champs (youth-MS) the last 2 years -53 State Placers in last 2 years - 1 out of every 3 Higher Calling wrestlers made the state finals in 2015 You drop your wrestler off with us on Sunday and you pick them back up Thursday night. There is 5 days of intense wrestling that is unlike what any other camps offer. The competition will be intense and very high level. Camp location will be at the Jones Wrestling Center or The Barn in Cleveland, TN, depending on which camp is attended. Wrestlers will sleep at the Jones center or the Barn depending on the week that choose to go to. Bring a sleeping bag and or an air mattress. We will provide all meals for all campers for the entire week but they are welcome to bring their own snacks and drinks. This camp is going to draw almost all of the TN kids that are going to VAC and the Ga Smashmouth group is all of the top Ga Kids. This camp is going to as many hammers in one room that TN has every seen. Cost is $35 plus you need to bring a new unwrapped toy that will be donated to Toys for Tots. Over the past 4 years Coach Yost has produced 9 state Champions and 36 state medalist who all excelled because of the techniques that were instilled on them by Coach Yost. Coach Yost has produced back to back Tennessee state titles in both the Dual Team division and the Individual division. TN/GA/KY Wrestlefest for August will be Saturday August 23 from 9am to 4pm at the Jones Center in Cleveland TN. 900 Raider Drive, Cleveland, tn 37311 Wrestlefest is open to intermediate to advanced wrestlers from grades k through 12. This is a wrestlefest so it means like all Wrestlefest you will get some extremely high level technique taught by one of the best instructors in the Southeast, lot's of live situational drilling and more live wrestling with some of the best wrestlers that TN, Ga and Ky have to offer. Our Wrestlefest's will give you the chance to get more live mat time against some of the best wrestlers in the Southeast than you will get the entire season. We currently have over 25 state champions committed to come. Between 70 and 110 pounds we may have the most talent that's been in one mat in SE for a practice. The instructor for this Wrestlefest is Mike Sutherland who for the past decade ran one of the most successful youth wrestling programs in the Southeast and who's team's won the Elementary state team title in the TN AAU State Elementary tournament year after year. Mike has been instrumental in development of TeamTN elementary program that has lead to the success that TEAMTN has had the past few years at the National Elementary duals. Mike is considered by many to be one of the best if not the best technical ground instructors who specializes in teaching wrestlers 'how to finish' in the Southeast for wrestlers of all ages. Mike is going to focus on Top Work and in particular the CROSS WRIST series(dive through tilt, CHURELLA, Stack and then transitioning to a pump handle series if the bottom man flattens out). It is an amazing treat that we have been able to get Mike to come lead this all day camp so if you are serious about competing at a high level this year and improving on where you 'finish' this year then make sure you don't miss this event. WE will start at exactly 9am and there will be instructional drilling from 9am to 11am followed by live wrestling from 11am till noon. We will break for lunch from Noon to 1pm. Please bring your own lunch, coolers are welcome. Or there a ton of restaurants around the Jones Center. From 1pm to 2pm we will have another hour of instructional drilling followed by Live Wrestling and Live situational wrestling from 2pm to 4pm. This event will be capped at first 100 wrestlers who wrester on Track. If you don't preregister on track then you will not be guaranteed a spot of we fill up. If you plan on coming then you have to Pre-register. Don't plan on just showing up. TN/GA/KY Wrestlefest for August will be Saturday August 23 from 9am to 4pm at the Jones Center in Cleveland TN. 900 Raider Drive, Cleveland, tn 37311 Wrestlefest is open to intermediate to advanced wrestlers from grades k through 12. This is a wrestlefest so it means like all Wrestlefest you will get some extremely high level technique taught by one of the best instructors in the Southeast, lot's of live situational drilling and more live wrestling with some of the best wrestlers that TN, Ga and Ky have to offer. Our Wrestlefest's will give you the chance to get more live mat time against some of the best wrestlers in the Southeast than you will get the entire season. We currently have over 25 state champions committed to come. Between 70 and 110 pounds we may have the most talent that's been in one mat in SE for a practice. The instructor for this Wrestlefest is Mike Sutherland who for the past decade ran one of the most successful youth wrestling programs in the Southeast and who's team's won the Elementary state team title in the TN AAU State Elementary tournament year after year. Mike has been instrumental in development of TeamTN elementary program that has lead to the success that TEAMTN has had the past few years at the National Elementary duals. Mike is considered by many to be one of the best if not the best technical ground instructors who specializes in teaching wrestlers 'how to finish' in the Southeast for wrestlers of all ages. Mike is going to focus on Top Work and in particular the CROSS WRIST series(dive through tilt, CHURELLA, Stack and then transitioning to a pump handle series if the bottom man flattens out). It is an amazing treat that we have been able to get Mike to come lead this all day camp so if you are serious about competing at a high level this year and improving on where you 'finish' this year then make sure you don't miss this event. WE will start at exactly 9am and there will be instructional drilling from 9am to 11am followed by live wrestling from 11am till noon. We will break for lunch from Noon to 1pm. Please bring your own lunch, coolers are welcome. Or there a ton of restaurants around the Jones Center. From 1pm to 2pm we will have another hour of instructional drilling followed by Live Wrestling and Live situational wrestling from 2pm to 4pm. This event will be capped at first 100 wrestlers who wrester on Track. If you don't preregister on track then you will not be guaranteed a spot of we fill up. If you plan on coming then you have to Pre-register. Don't plan on just showing up.
