Awesome news. I hope it is freestyle, since this is the style these young athlete's move on to wrestle in college. This will sadly be a very small and quick tournament.

I know. Thats why I walked away. Otherwise the head coach would have been tossed. I slept fine knowing she got cheated out of placement and I am sure the ref did as well. Time to get back to work in the wood shed.

I experienced a ref. Make a terrible call that cost a young lady a match and an opportunity to place. I already had a warning and was on a short leash. He would not look at video evidence to correct his poor call. I know they are not perfect but they should be open to being challenged on a questionable call.

Shout out to Olivia Messerly (Ryle). Had a good day of wrestling despite vomiting between matches and having to manage her type 1 diabetes. She is a little stud. Placed 3rd at 86lbs.

Congratulations to Ryle Raiders today. Took first with commanding wins. Thank you to Tyler and his crew. They put on a really good event. We did see some poor sportsmanship from a coach. Not the message we want for our young athletes but the referee did a good job removing him from the competition.
