Does the wrestler have to have a team coach present? Currently my son is the only one from his team going. I don't think we are going to have any of our coaches go.

whine, whine. If you want to have the tournament where 90% of kentucky's best wrestlers are, just have it in union county. other than that, campbellsville is central. the issue is the lack of interest in youth team KY

and round and round we go. Kids are going to cut. That's a given. many of the kids won't cut is a healthy manner. I'd rather they have less distance to go.

I agree with the Taylor county nod. They are a tough team with little experience.

does anyone know if there is a contingency plan if weather is an issue or if montgomery county schools are closed at the end of the weekend

all that does is marketing for those tourneys, forces teams to go compete in them.

Our team hasn't been able to practice for a week. We don't have access to the facilities. A lot of our wrestlers are from disadvantaged homes and don't have the family support to hold weight. I don't think a pound is a horrible thing to give middleschoolers who have worked to get this are and are dealing with things beyond their control.
