If there are people out there that reserved rooms for state and are not going to use them please cancele your reservation. The blocks of rooms are already gone for Friday night.

The kids that won't do that good at middle school can still do youth state. The catch is they have to weigh in for youth region and they have to pay the fee for region. They do not have to wrestle region.

If you wrestle 130 lbs it is 132 lbs on January 1st

Everyone gets 2lbs the 1st of the year middle school and high school. It the growth allowance. It's been that way for a long time. There should not be any other wieght allowance if you ask me but i don't count

They seed the region winners. Then the 4th placer follows the region champ to his bracket and 2nd 3rd from each region follow each other

Jaydon Streine wants to practice with the team but don't know if we can trave to the turnaments. Would thst be ok if he just practiced

What if it went back to the days of semi state then the state tourny We had district region semi state then state. Don't kill me for asking but could that give the option for a different venue

I did that last year on the way to Iowa for the national duels

The first 2 years they did place the mat in the middle last year was the first time they didn't do it.

Even if they just seeded the regional champs. That would be great.

I could be wrong but I'd say they went with the easiest solution instead of working for the best solution. 3 weeks that's a long wait... But I could be wrong it's just my opinion. I can bet though that if it was the sweet 16 we was talking about they would be doing much more

I hope this weather does not keep anyone from making it to the horse park. Hoping everything works out and all the kids that busted their butts get to wrestle this weekend

Yes it was a great experience for the kids. I suggest to tryout for this. If your son or daughter makes the team it will be an experience they will never forget and give them a chance to work with some great coaches.
