Hey Ranger, just went to Track and found the event just as you have it posted. Unfortunately it said that the brackets weren't available to the public yet. Am I doing something wrong, or are you still doing your final check? Thanks in advance for your help.

I believe that I saw on Trackwrestling where Frankone has 1 loss.

Good stuff MLee. That's exactly how mine turned out. I did mine with #s though, so I went a little more cross eyed seperating Regions 1-4 with seeds 1-4. The letter system seems a little easier. pin2win, apparently MLee is whole lot better than me at explaining a good system to use!! Lol.

pin2win, once you have seeds, you can match them by process of elimination. The 1 and 4 from the same region will be on one side of the bracket, and the 2 and the 3 will be on the other. The determining factor of which region wrestles which, is how the seeding of the region champs play out. If you have a good idea of how those seeds played out, you can start plugging in names. The 2s and 3s can be tricky, but I saw a pattern that I followed. You can easily narrow it down to 2 possibilities. I know this is probably about as clear as mud. Sorry.

The Region results can be found on Trackwrestling. Some can be found on this website as well.

Hmmm....Imposter?

I put together a bracket for certain weight earlier. I would bet it is pretty close to 100% correct. If your just intrested in who a certain kid has first round, it's not too hard to figure out. If your kid was 2nd in the Region, you can narrow his possible opponents to 1 of the 3 third place finishers from a region that is not your own. If you have further knowledge of the weight class, you can narrow it down even more. Not too hard to figure out. Just takes time and research.

Just saw that and was going to comment. Ridiculous! 113 is a joke too. There is a 0% chance of the current seeding standing. The coaches will sort this out in the morning. If they don't.........WOW!! Can't believe they would even release anything that looks that silly. Who's in charge of this tournament? The KHSAA?? Lol!

What is the seeding criteria?
-
Vega won a tight one. Should be a great match to watch.

No dog in the fight, but just because there are 16 teams coming, doesn't mean there will be full 16 man brackets. A lot of the teams listed have multiple holes. Having a team, any team, needing help getting in an event this close to the end of the season, you help them out. I would think WHHS would be more accommodating.

I'm not sure if Coach Wolf gets on here or not. I'm sure his contact info is on the KSWA website.

Thanks to all of those that have posted results. I'm sure we all appreciate it. To everyone else who hasn't posted results yet, c'mon guys, let's get them out in the open so the discussions can begin!! I love this time of year! Nothing like it.

Gene Wolf of Madison Central would be someone you may be interested in contacting. He keeps central KY pretty busy.

After today, I'm sure that the rankings will change. As the results pour in, the picture will become more clear. Big shout out to Woodford County, Coach Yost, Coach Lewis, and their staff on a very efficient ran tournament. Can't wait to see all of the results. 121 for sure! Brown, M. Ervin, and Lawrence. Wow!!

Results?

Thanks Coach. I had heard that Ashland wasn't going to host Regionals and that Woodford had picked it up. Nothing confirmed though.
-
I wasn't completely clear in my original post. My apologies. Thanks for all the responses, hope to have even more.

We are talking about Middle School Districts and Regionals, right?
-
Good point Coach, the 3 former State Finalist can't do it on their own. They will have some help from the younger Vasquez and Torgeson. Should be an interesting day for sure.
-
Went to the KSWA website to see which schools were hosting Districts and Regionals. Couldn't find anything except for dates. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks.

Now that Lafayette is at full strength, I think they will be tough to beat. Pool B will be a grind for sure. I will predict a Lafayette vs Montgomery final with the Generals coming out on top.
-
That's unfortunate that he didn't have the opportunity to comeback and place 3rd. Still a very impressive job by a very impressive young man.

One thing I've learned about the Lampe boys, they improve so much in a years time. They start out good, get even better, get really good, then win State Championships. It's just what they do. Tough kids and good family (from what I've seen and heard, mostly heard.)
