If you were born in 2003 you are in the novice div. If you were born in 2000 you are a cadet.
-
We are putting a team together for schoolboy duals. You must be born in 2001 or 2002 (No Exceptions)
The weight classes are as follows: 70,77,84,91,98,105,112,120,128,136,144,152,160,175,190,210,265
The tournament will be held June 3-7 in Indianapolis.
If you are interested please send me a pm on this site or you can email me, 126dgb@gmail.com. call or text 270-952-0215
I would really like to see state placers on this team, but all are welcome to try out. I will do my very best to try to get everyone a spot on the team.
More info will come later in the week.

I believe Zach Salyers, & Luke Troxell were on that team. I think Luke might have been undefeated??

Austin scored 470 placement points plus 60 match points in Freestyle and 40 match points in Greco. He started with 455 points. He now has 1025 points.
The only competitor that competed this weekend that was ahead of hi is Jacob Godinez from Illinois. He got 110 placement points 40 match points for Greco, and 20 match points for freestyle. He started with 475 points. He now has 645 points.
I don't think anyone lower than Austin would have accumulated enough points to pass Austin considering he was the only wrestler to Double AA at 220, so I believe Austin will be ranked first in the Future Olympian Rankings with 1025 points the next closest would be Ethan Andersen with 750 points

Junior finals start at 10:00 local time, 11:00 eastern time!
-
No they awarded a take down with no time on the clock. They hit him with passivity early in the 2nd period. That's how Dixon got the first point.
Austin is already up again
-
!@##$%^&&^%! Austin gets hit with passivity again, when he has the only offense in the match. Really not liking the officiating here.
-
That is correct.
-
Austin got shafted again!! No Question!!
-
Austin is Kentucky's first ever Greco AA!! Awesome job!!
I think the match up with Nash will be a little different in freestyle! Austin got shafted on a 5 point throw he didn't get the points for in the semis.
Also awesome job by Raynel!! He picked up some big wins against two tough dudes, just came up one win short of AA. One big match left tonight then on to Freestyle.
Cadets start in the morning!

Both Junior Greco- Roman wrestlers on to day 2!!!
Austin Myers with 2 Tech Falls and a 2-1 win over a Florida wrestler with Level 3 separation criteria!! On to the 1/4 finals!!
Raynel Brown gets a bye 1st round, then throws an Alabama wrestler with Level 3 separation criteria and pins him in :47 seconds!! Raynel will wrestle his 3rd round match first thing in the morning!
Awesome job men!!
-
Delong lost to a possible champ, that will AA, and another probable AA his second match. Hard to fight thru a draw like that.
-
Ackley by fall first round. Has a kid from Missouri next. Bout #564
Delong bye first round. Next up kid from Illinois. Bout #932
-
The first group have arrived in Fargo. They're checked in and ready to go. Tomorrow Andrew Ackley & Joey Delong go for gold in cadet greco-roman. on Monday morning Austin Myers & Raynel Brown go for gold in junior greco-roman. Get behind these boys! They're proudly representing our state!

We are working on our 2015 teams now. More info will follow. Lets try to keep this an informative thread. I enjoy banter as much as the next guy but it makes it hard to get info to the kids that I don't have contact info on. Good luck to all at State! I look forward to seeing you this summer!
