No out of state placers will be eligable for the team.

As soon as we have a coach for the Blue Team, the coaches will be able to answer all of those questions. I'm simply trying to get something put together for those interested. As of right now, we can't field a full team.

March 24th - 26th

There will be a table at this tournament to declare yourself a contender for Team Kentucky Youth. You will be required to weigh in the morning of the tournament. Team Kentucky Coaches will have a scale at the tournament for this purpose.

If you are planning to wrestle on Team Kentucky Youth. The team will be put together based on finish order at Julian Finley Memorial. If you plan to wrestle for a spot, you will have to make weight the morning of the tournament. Team Kentucky Coaches will have a scale at the tournament. You will have to declare yourself as contending for a spot, and then step on the scale. This is completely separate from registration for the tournament. You will still have to follow registration requirements.

Just food for thought. I'm pretty sure all other tournaments that the KHSAA puts on are seeded, including seeding players in tennis. Not sure why this can't work. Seed region Champs 1 - 8.

Significant wins are wins that tracks data base views as significant. Not necessarily significant inside the state, although some could be. A significant win would be a win over someone that has a lot of significant wins his or herself. Tyler has no control over that.

The teams head coach is Seth Livingston. The other coaches will be decided on by Seth. The entry fee of $800 is covered. There are other fees involved like gear, housing, ect. You will be chosen for the team at the KWOA spring classic. This is the qualifying tournament.

I'm with you raidercoach, we keep taking competition away from our youth organization for what we're calling growth. Not sure how this ads up.

I think there are several that could be mentioned in this conversation. A few of these are Spencer Moore, Isham Peace, Payne Carr, and Noah Duke. These kids I know for sure consistently test the water outside of our state. But for me, the stand alone best from Kentucky is Zeke Escalera. He has been to almost every major folkstyle event and has had a lot of success! Plus, he gets a lot of national recognition!
