Just got word from Coach friend from Washington State that they are starting back up Jan 2021 with football to follow in March. Any one hearing news on KY Wrestling!!!

Awesome news!!! The entire Moore family has been a major blessing for KY Wrestling. We thank them for all their very unselfish efforts. May God continue to bless each and everyone of them.

FCA 2020 !!!! FCA Camp registration will open up Mar 1 . Looking for another awesome turnout . First yr we had 120 participants, last year 230 and had to turn kids away. This year we will cap at 250. Don’t miss out!!!! Signup as soon as registration opens!!!! Looking forward to changing more lives !!! Wr4 Christ!!!

Because of COVID19 , We just received word from National FCA that all summer camps in June will be cancelled. Very unfortunate, we were geared up for an awesome opportunity to change some lives. We had over 180 wrestlers with over 30 coaches and clinicians signed up before the COVID 19 pandemic. We want to thank all those who were on board. All refunds will be done electronically through the credit cards you paid with. We are hopeful that everyone will receive full refunds by May 8. Thanks again , may God continue to bless u and keep u healthy. Prayers for our nation and world. We will all be back soon!!! Keep on the lookout for No-Ox camp opportunities when this things passes. You remember days at Tom Sawyer State park. I think Lou Owens was the AAU man in KY. We did several tournaments there. About the only thing going on way back then.

I remember getting destroyed by a kid from Germany. I didn’t even make it to State that yr. Had no business in an International Tournament. Fun memories. Rode back with 6 of us in a 73 mustang coupe!!! Lol

1978!! Watson was from West Hardin. Bernie McCamish, Pete Baney, Jeff Shoebrooks, Ron Williams , Mike Gallagher and myself, Joe Burroughs all from North that year.

North Hardin fresh off State Championship took about 7 wrestlers. I was there, didn’t last long. We had a few studs that won a few match but everyone got pinned!!! 135 man brackets!! I think we had one kid finish top 40 maybe. Lots of fun.

We must keep it MS and HS. We had some small middle school kids but only 1 actual youth , he was one of the Professors on campus grandson.We have a hard enough time keeping up with MS/HS wrestlers.

After just 10 days into registration, our FCA2020 camp is half full. If you have a team that’s interested don’t drag ur feet, get registered!!! We have 4-5 teams we know will be signing up this week. Booster club associated with school never works. School has too much control. ( Redbook). Start a wrestling club and fundraise through that. Do not connect school with club anyway whatsoever. I ran into nightmares with No-Ox . Just takes one crazy!!!

Turn the Awards Podium Around!!!!

Just curious why they give a Small School Champ and Runner up award but they don’t give a Big School Champ and Runner up Award. Seem like if they do that for small school, Christian Co should have been Big School Champ, then an Overall Championship should be awarded. Kinda slights the Big School with the most points!!! Just wondering!!!
