    Footwork Trainer is a one of a kind training tool for all wrestlers. It can help beginners develop and learn basic fundamental footwork. It can also help experienced wrestlers fix bad habits. It helps all wrestlers develop a deeper understanding of footwork.

    Cradle Camp

    October 12-13, 2019

    9:00am – 2:00pm

    $100

    40 Spots Available

    Cradle Camp specializes and focuses solely on cradle positions. The Cradle Camp goal is to teach students a “Cradle System” that they can easily incorporate into their own personal style. The “Cradle System” focuses on set-ups, finishes, and offensive/defensive strategies for inside and outside cradles. 

    Wrestlers should have drinks, extra clothes, lunch (unless they are leaving for lunch), and a knee pad, mouthpiece and headgear.

    The camp will be held at Invicta Wrestling Academy:  50 Vincennes St. New Albany, IN 47150

    Schedule

    9:00 – 11:00 Technique/drill/spar/live

    11:00 – 12:00: Lunch(not provided)

    12:00 – 2:00: Technique/drill/spar/live

    If you would like to host a Cradle Camp please let me know. We currently host one at Madison High School in Indiana, and we also offer one at Invicta Wrestling Academy in New Albany, IN. We have been running the Cradle Camp for several years now and have had a great turn out and response from this camp.

    Invicta Girls Freestyle

    This is an 8 week class introducing freestyle wrestling to girls with an interest in wrestling. The class will be lead by Coach Makayla Pledger (University of Campbellsville Alumni). The class will focus on learning rules and various techniques for freestyle wrestling. High school wrestling season is folkstyle but the international and college women compete freestyle.

    • AGES: 8-18
    • PRACTICES: Sundays 3:00-4:30pm
    • COST:$80.00
    • CLASS RUNS: March 24-May 11, 2019

    Invicta Wrestling Academy Summer Camps & Training

    Elite Membership

    This group is where we expect young wrestlers to start taking the sport more seriously. Practices are three days a week year round (exception: Indiana HS students, may not attend during their competitive season). At Invicta Wrestling Academy, we will limit classes to 40 students. The main focus of this class is the development of technical knowledge and the fine tuning of wrestling technique through highly effective practice and drill sessions, sparring, and live wrestling. You can join the academy at any juncture, and if you are serious about achieving your goals in wrestling you should do so as soon as possible. Click here to learn more

    Fundamental Membership 

    This group is offered at different times throughout the season. It’s main focus is basic fundamental techniques, along with live wrestling, and drills that are essential to be successful in the sport of wrestling.
