If CC wins by more than 40 (which will never happen) it would not have mattered anyway! I still feel that Larue is the team to beat followed closely by union and campbell. We should have a great tournament and I feel bad for anyone who misses the action on Friday!!!!!!

You are right sorry just guessed on that one!!! I went back and viewed the schedule today Have to win a couple on Saturday too, this makes for a long night for some on Friday!

I have read in other posts about state qualifiers and state placers being left at home. Back in the late nineties and early 2000's, state placers and qualifiers were left out all the time. When you qualified for the state tournament you were one of the best in the state. I know some of the regions were still very weak (i.e. Woodford Region), but with a little effort from the higher-ups we could accomplish a more well rounded state (as a whole). I also agree that the state tourney should go back to a 16 man bracket. Top 4 from districts to Regions top 4 from Regions to State. I also think that you could then eliminate Top 8 placing at state, take it back to top 6. If you did not do this last step then you could have kids with losing records place at the state tournament. Now some positives from going back to a two day format! I love the fact that you have to wrestle your butt off the first day, and if you make it to the second day, you are on the PODIUM! I am so excited I can barely stand it cannot wait until FRRRRIIIIIIDDDDAAAYYYYY!!!!!!!

1. Anyone care to predict who gets what seed at each weight class in this region. 2. Who thinks this will be one of the most tense seeding meetings in long time.

I know this has been brought up before but my goodness! We need the coaches association to step up and get the state motivated to reorganize the regions. Her are a few things I have noticed. 1. Region 4 might be the easiest region in the state to qualify for the big show! They have several wrestlers that did not win a match in the region that will participate in the state tourney. 2. Regions 1, 6, 8 (maybe others) have 12-14 teams. These regions could be split and still be larger than some of the others. I have never been a fan of the 32 man bracket. The argument that it promotes participation is valid, but we all know it is about the money. I wish the khsaa would re-district and go back to the 16 man bracket.

If Carr wrestled for the school he started with we might have seen him wrestle in region 6. Just saying. Also seems like TJ and Carr are more alike than TJ and Brock I still go with TJ.

I agree it is going to be a dogfight at 120 after Yenter! All of those guys looked tough this year!!! I am excited to see the seeds! Does anyone know exactly when the seeding meeting will be, is it tomorrow or Thursday? Also, will they post them somewhere or will we have to wait until Friday? I love post season!!!

(not sure where castellano is going???) 132: Ahern Harris gets 2 seed based on head to head Woods ? 138: Hamilton ? three way maybe between ryle dixie and walton 145: Cooper jones ? 152: Lane Jones Myers (if coaches use their brains/ if not unseeded?!?!?) ? 160: Clark Sowder Turner 170: Chamblee Mathews 182: Steele Fischer miller (head to head goes to scott over cc) keeton/wolf (no clue on common) 195: Page Key ? 220: cornett thompson myers (no clue on common or head to head) williamson 285: Patrick (head to head over Frank) Frank Miskel Gripsover Not Knowing all the head to heads this is my opinion on how some of the seeds will fall!

I really do understand why you are pissed know that I wish this post was never started. I hope to see kent compete at a high level and achieve/prove something to his doubters if only for himself!

BL I have been around a lot longer than you think! Almost 10 years now at CC. Though I have never stepped into the wrestling room to act like a coach, my sons have been through the CC program and I have the utmost respect for all of the leaders of said program. I am hoping that your son does not feel betrayed by his teammates because they do not deserve any of the blame for this situation. Keep it between you and the coaching staff.

Why not have him lose team points by arguing with the refs or cursing like I witnessed at the conference duals with CC and Ryle.

I hope those of you who are complaining about how this is a blatant disregard for the rules realize no rules were broken by coach b, the KHSAA ruled them eligable! So the argument is his decision to let them wrestle. How many of you are supporters of union, trinity, ryle, Simon Kenton? All of these schools have been accused of similar things. I believe SK Had a pretty good kaiser transfer in from scott, trinity won a state title with a bradberry, now a hitchings, ryle had a runner up finish with a Hall, oh and all the union folks have had a title with Carr, and Blackwell. So to those who say that "this" is what the sport has come too I agree, but don't put one persons head on the chopping block, it is the sport as a whole. With things the way they are today (people acting like babies when things don't go their way) loyalty very rarely exists. BL you have every right to be pissed off your son lost his spot to a better wrestler. But, keep in mind there are many factors that play into this and would you be this upset if Stephen had beat the 160 pounder and your son was not affected? I think not.

I hope The Myers stay at Campbell next year so they have a shot at winning back to back state titles.

What a joke this is exactly what not being loyal looks like! Coming on a forum in which most of the state looks at including his sons friends and team mates, and bashing an entire coaching staff. GROW UP!!!!
