We are looking for a HWT for a dual event on 11/29. This is a k-6 tournament and the weight is over 135lbs for HWT. In a bracket tournament who will be able to score with Walton's lower weights? Does Union, Ryle, Campbell, or Woodford have the horses? Assuming Brossart beats Horton. Caggiano and Lee will also be in the mix at 106 for the Raiders.

Lucas Colemire and Michael Dodge Ryle will most likely be 86 this year. Looks like the Raiders will make some noise this year. With only 3 or 4 eighth graders the future is bright.

VOTE: - Post season format – Option 1 (district/Region/State) Option 2 (Region/State, only 2 entries per team, per weight class in Region) VOTE: - Keep 2lbs Growth allowance VOTE: - Add 13/14 Age Group to Youth State Tournament (Yes / No) I like Option 1. Some of the bigger teams send more than 2 kids per class. Kids shouldn't be punished in Middle School for being on a good team. That will happen soon enough. I'm not a fan of the Growth Allowance. It is used more for weight cutting than it is for growth. 13/14 age group is middle school. I think youth state should be K-6 with a max age. If you are in the 7th grade you are Middle School and no longer youth.

There is only one Ranger. I'm just having a little fun!

I see Kitchen-Carter and Yost both making the list. Even Lutes by mid season.

Raider Nation. The club that brings all of our kids not just the ones that will score points. Its about growth not PPW!!!

Looks more like 17 on your roster. That is 6.76 and I'm sure once I remove all our scratches our numbers will either be right there with yours or better. Maybe we could set up a dual next year and we will be able to adjust your PPW a little more for you. Pounders, KY 17 this is on Track

As a state does this mean that we are going to keep the youth kids on the youth team and make a run at it? If we build from the bottom our team will grow a lot faster. It may hurt the middle school team this year but will help in the long run.

With all the bad weather and not being able to practice will the kids get a pound tomorrow?

After all the wrestlers were entered track wrestling has a program for 10%. After Track put the brackets together we went through and made sure kids from the same team where on opposite sides of the bracket. If it was possible we tried to keep kids from the same region apart in the first round.

I agree 04 around 70# will be tough.

Some of The High School teams were set to travel tomorrow. The youth teams will not have to travel till Saturday. This will give the state plenty of time to make sure everyone will have safe travels. Safety is MOST IMPORTANT! Good Luck to everyone this weekend!!!!

If they can not change it that would be tough. I know Noah will be upset if he doesn't get the chance to wrestle for team Kentucky because of a scheduling conflict.
