Mason Smith with some more bad luck. Draws Sammy Sasso his first match. Sammy is the 2nd ranked 145 pounder and #6 overall in this years class. Keep battling Mason! Seems like he always gets a terrible draw.

Penn St. qualifies 12 kids for 10 weight classes. Bonus points are huge if anyone wants to challenge them they better find a way to score bonus points like them!

He might have been off in a couple weight classes. Overall Ranger came through. He missed less than 2 placers per weight class on average. Ranked vs projected vs placed.pdf

Parents are looking for some answers. Below are a few questions that I've been asked. We are interested in wrestling with the Middle school team Kentucky. Would you have any information on when (day of the week) and where they would hold practices/tryouts? With baseball in full swing at that time we just need an idea of how many missed games and practices he would have.

Yost is the front runner, he already has one. He is in a tough weight class but has proved he can hang. Zeke has the best shot to make it happen. I don't think he is cutting much weight and could be 106 or 113 next year. Payne Carr is another kid nobody is talking about he is also in a very tough weight class. Spencer Moore is only a 7th grader and has another year to grow. If he gets close to 100 pounds and can get into Walton's line up he has a chance. Noah Duke also a 7th grader. Who knows what we will weigh next year. He has gone from 105 in the 5th grade, to 130 in the 6th grade, and just wrestled 152 at Middle School.

Not sure I follow? Maybe overlooked a few kids not really sure I overlooked Riley. Riley was sitting at number 5 not number 12-16.

Over the last couple weeks we finally have good results. The club teams stay the same. In the school teams McCracken moves to number 2. They had a great showing at State Duals yesterday. Now we just have to wait for Ranger to put his preview together!!!!! Middle school rankings 1-29-16 update.pdf

The Regional Tournaments are over. If your wrestler made it through the region you should find his/her name on the list. After going over the results from yesterday Ryle has moved into the top spot. Walton and Union drop to second and third in the club race. In the school teams Johnson Co brings a ton of kids to state and will be tough for other school teams to handle. Campbell Co is in second with some big time point scorers. Most weight classes have had the same kids around the top of it all year. The one class I'm not sure about is 130. For me this seems like the weight class that is wide open. Middle school rankings 1-22-16 update.pdf

We really need to know what grade this wrestler is in. This is for the program at state. Dane True, Harrison Co. (240)
