No way to police that. CYA....

If anyone plans to wrestle in Clarksville-Montgomery County in TN, you better contact coaches. From my understanding they will not allow out of state teams for matches. Also, BOC meeting is this week. Im interested to see the agenda.
-
cmon Rob. A no hasnt ever stopped you. haha.
-
then go get a job and build one from not being victim of the drop bug
-
I think we are in a tough spots with us who do not field full teams. I don't think there is a right answer.
-
KHSAA just pretty much made it known without saying wrestling and B-ball will be pushed off. The options being discussed has the playoffs starting Mid-November.
-
We will have a few.
-
will you send me info please?
-

Wrestling season being pushed back?
halfhalfhalf replied to Tbagnky's topic in High School Wrestling
I highly doubt it gets pushed back unless we have a huge outbreak again this winter. JT comments I felt were in response to the huge bowl games and having to consider it with the partnerships with BBall. We do not have a partnership with UK like BBall does. -

that I agree with 100%
-
so they ARE going to have weight classes for the girls now?
-
wouldnt be opposed to that. I rly do not think decreasing is the answer. Reshuffle great. But take away.. Not the answer.
-
I am only arguing this point because it is an argument ive had with coaches in the past...... You cannot hold back your better kids to go to a tourney that will not push them. Knowing your kids are the way you look at it. I agree with pin2win some abuse the "JV" system. Always have and always will. But whats good for my program may not be what's best for his program. Comparing apples to oranges.

For those who have twitter, there has been a lot of good discussion about it. I am against dropping a weight class. I think the reshuffle they did for our current weight classes makes sense. But taking an opportunity away to me is asinine.
-
haha. @take em to the mat I have an entire plan I came up with. my kids love it.

Many of you all are tired of COVID and nothing to talk about so let's have some discussion based from the coaches survey we had to do. weight classes for duals and individual tournaments. Let's discuss it since it was asked. GO.

discussion to take minds off of COVID-19
halfhalfhalf replied to halfhalfhalf's topic in High School Wrestling
agreed. I think it was senseless for them to even ask that idea.
