GOO I agree 100% with your post. Luckily for me I was able to volunteer with my former HS coach/coaching mentor to learn. I am still learning today to become an even better coach.

The dungeon was too small. All Tech needs to be tweaked in some areas, but they main points were right on. It was big enough that we could find seating, but large enough to watch multiple matches .

Start with a youth program and then move your way up. I started coaching youth when I was in High School during the spring to keep my mind fresh and prepare myself to coach later on in life. It has paid off trendemously now that I am coaching the HS/MS team. But like I have said to my seniors departing when they want to get into coaching, You are there to make the kids better and help them learn to become great wrestlers. You are not there to get yourself better as a wrestler.

Throw in David Nikolao from Fort Campbell as a contender at Hwt. He missed Districts with an ankle injury last season.

Does anyone use a video program like hudl?

I use facebook as a way for my parents who are deployed to follow us at tournaments. A parent started our page a few years ago for her husband to see photos...Now I update the page round by round with our varsity results and she uploads pictures.

I've got to agree about Willie from Hoptown. From what I have been told he was an absolute monster.

Austin Meyers won the tournament. Eli Matthews finished 7th

Shirkey finished 6th.

Shirkey also is in championship semifinals. He just got beat. Fort Campbell's Ki Ryder (sophomore 160) and jerry Haywood(junior 152) both knocked out finishing 2-2. Daviess county Cory Curtis(sophomore 160) finished 1-2. Fauez wrestled a great match and is in the finals!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jerry haywood of fort Campbell is in the round of 16 in the juniors division. Gino Haywood advances to the rd of 16. Ki Ryder wins his pig tail tail match to move into round of 32 and drops into wrestle backs. Both meyers brothers advance to rd of 16.

GOO I agree. If leg rides are done correctly you can wear down anyone. It has and always will be my bread and butter from top.
