    State Duals Pools and Results

@GOO: like I said, I was not there and have not seen either team wrestle in person this year. I was going off result info that was available. CC has no results posted from state duals and UC did. That's where I got lineups. Those changes make a big difference 2nd attempt: CC vs UC 106 Sheffer DEC Krebs. (0-4) 113 Dezember MD Maggart (0-7) 120 Blackwell FALL Spahr (0-13) 126 Ervin FALL Skinner (0-19) 132 Fausz FALL Ervin (6-19) I think Fausz was at 126? I'm not sure though, I was not there this weekend, I was getting second hand results, but I think that if CC bumps him to 32, it's a wash, and if they leave him at 26 they could give up 3 @ 26 and 3 @ 32. 138 Carr DEC Hamilton (6-22) 145 Gahafer DEC Woods (6-25) heard Gahafer was at 45, can someone confirm that? 152 SAM FALL Wolfe? (12-25) 160 Bachman DEC French? (15-25) 170 Turner DEC Morris (18-25) 182 Matthews DEC Smith (21-25) talked to a buddy that was there, according to him Matthews does not pin smith. Apparently smith stalls too much. 195 Carter DEC Keeton (21-28) 220 ATM FALL Sherman (27-28) Still close

    State Duals Pools and Results

As is often the case on these forums, I do not have a dog in the fight. That being said, you seem to think that CC has the best team, hands down. Can we look at the lineups both of the Dual Champ teams (CC & UC) had at Fern Creek this weekend and guess what the outcome might have been? CC vs UC 106 Sheffer MD Lillie. (0-4) 113 Dezember FALL Wilbers (0-10) 120 Blackwell FALL Maggard (0-16) 126 Ervin FALL Spahr (0-22) 132 Fausz FALL Ervin (6-22) I think Fausz was at 126? I'm not sure though, I was not there this weekend, I was getting second hand results, but I think that if CC bumps him to 32, it's a wash, and if they leave him at 26 they could give up 3 @ 26 and 3 @ 32. 138 Carr DEC Hamilton (6-25) 145 Gahafer DEC Woods (6-28) heard Gahafer was at 45, can someone confirm that? 152 SAM FALL ????? (12-28) 160 don't know either guy here? (15-28) So I give 3 to CC because whoever it is trains with SAM. 170 Turner DEC Morris (18-28) 182 Matthews FALL Smith (24-28) 195 Carter DEC Graziani (24-31) 220 ATM FALL Sherman (30-31) Comes down to the final match!!!! This a close one folks....

I don't think anyone has said anything about being upset by the fact that he has been nominated. I was simply trying to offer FACT based information on someones questions. Good for Dennis Walls. I have not read anything on this post that I would consider fussing. I think someone asked information on the organization which sponsors the award, status required to recieve the award, criteria considered when being nominated, who nominates, etc....

    State dual results.

Kinda sad, since next year State Duals will be split into small schools and large schools. I guess so the large schools will have a change to win one. haha.

This is from the release of the recognition of the 2011 coaches of the year found at http://www.nfhs.org/content.aspx?id=6480 National Coaches of the Year Selected by NFHS Coaches Association FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Tim Flannery INDIANAPOLIS, IN (January 10, 2012) — Twenty high school coaches from across the country have been selected 2011 National Coaches of the Year by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Coaches Association. State Duals coming up

I could see that happening. My annalysis is more of a means to an end. I predict union winning but it will be by 3 or fewer points. however, several of these matches could flip flop on where pins, majors, and Dec are earnes. Of course all this is based on a HUGE assumption: that both teams have all their guys healthy.

    State Duals coming up

Match by match predictions 106 larue by Dec 3-0 113 union by fall 3-6 120 union by fall 3-12 126 union by fall 3-18 132 union by fall 3-24 138 union by major 3-28 145union by Dec 3-31 152 union by Dec 3-34.....that's the last points we will see from union 160 larue by major 7-34 170 larue by fall 13-34 182 larue by fall 19-34 195 larue by major 23-34 220 larue by major 27-34 285 larue by fall 33-34 union wins.... Key points: 103 bonus opportunity for larue. 132 Carr must pin Perez. If uinions heavyweight can keep from getting pinned, that will be a big help for them. I see each team winning 7 matches, so this dual will be won on bonus points.

    Campbell County - Ryle Dual

Sounds like this was a pretty exciting dual meet. That being said, when I read the results, this is how I pictured the 220 match:
