Pretty good, tough tourney held in Massalin(sp) Oh. We've took Blue to it before, he placed. It's just a step below the Ohio TOC from what I was told.

I'd love to take Blue to some of these open houses but with his baseball hitting the busy season it's hard to get out to them. Maybe I get hit one next weekend well be in northern Ky playing some baseball games. Maybe he can sneak out for a while.

Josh Humphreys is a man child. He would beat any middle schooler in Ky 100lbs and under without question. Heck he could beat some of the high school 106lbers ...lol. He's a beast.

First let me say My son will wrestle in youth state regardless of the setup. Secondly I would prefer set weight classes but I understand why some don't want/like them. But if you don't think some kids(not all but some) feel unsatisfied based on competition just ask Blue next time you see him. Was he happy to win state the times he's won it sure. But did he think the tourney was very tough, best, or most fun he had wrestling I'm positive what his answer will be. Saying that were ok with any setup and will show up to wrestle no matter which it is. P.S. JD u da man

Willing to sacrifice, sacrifice is all we do. Traveling 3 to 6 hours away in surrounding states every weekend to find matches in the youth circuit. Practice 5 days a week 45 minutes from my house. I put the money and time in and he supplies the blood, sweat, and tears. So this dad and son very much knows what that means. I enjoy it very much. I enjoy all the sports he plays. I agree the Miller boys have improved and are great lil wrestlers

Blue has worked with the St Paris Graham bunch before, their great with the guys. When is your camps I'd love to bring him up. Sounds like it's going to be a great camp.

Yeah your right he lost to Sheffer in a high school match believe.

Garret McCloud will be back also. He wrestled well last year. Lost to Dylan Gray And Sheffer at state. Those were his only 2 loses of the year in middle school. He should be on the list.

Yeah Gamble was just a 7th grader last year and he wrestled in a weight class to heavy for him IMO.

I wish Blue could've made it but he tweaked his knee and hasnt been wrestling for about 3 weeks now. Next year hopefully.

So will kids not in the 6th grade still be eligible to compete?

I believe all challenges have to be ask for and performed before wrestling begins. Is that correct?
