Sasquatch definatley has the heigth and reach advantage but I think myers can get his high crotch off and power lift him on his head and pick up the quick fall! If this were to happen he would definatley get my vote for OW!!

Forgot to metion, KY awarded the OW to Jacob Murton his first year after moving down from OH. And Murton won OW 2 of his 3 years at state, Only Ruschell won it in between and look how he turned out so hard to argure with that one. So need to hold a grudge. If stephen or austin were the best over that two day period they would have won but they weren't so they didn't. I am sure if they can continue to stay at one school and win multiple championshsips next year, in dominating fashion, over better competition then one of them will prob win OW

Lets be honest, Stephan won one of the weakest weights in the state. It is a good thing for Stephen that he wrestled up in the begining of the year and ended up no being able to certify lower because if he would have wrestled 145 or 138 he would have been runner-up! As for OW, Fahy, Ervin, Cooper, and Austin (defeating previous state champion), all had a better argument for OW than Stephen.

The best way not to get celebrated on is to win the match!! To the winner go the spoils! You dont like your opponent celebrating after he beats you? Simple fix, Dont and lose!

If the Myers wanted to wrestle for Coach B and CC then they should have started there in October and this is a non-issue. The Ryle and Mark Hall situation not even close. Hall started at Ryle from day one and spent an entire season and school year there. But when you start the season and compete in varsity matches at another school and then transfer for personal reasons they should have been required to sit out a year. If the Myers help CC to a team title next season, and they probably will, then no astrix needed. But for 2012 Union County was the real state champion and Campbell was somewhere between 2-5 depending on how the Myers predecessors would have fared. (for the record I live no where near Morganfield and have never had any association with Union, just an outsider calling it like I see it.)

This is rather sad. I wonder if the priciple/AD consulted with a physician before maing this call? If they did then the physicain needs to be educated. Even if the raccoon was rabid and one of the wrestlers was infected with the virus there was absolutley ZERO chance of spreading the disease to other competitors. Without going into all the pathophysiology and epidemiology of rabies transmission lets just say it takes well over 24hrs for an infected person to be shedding the virus in their own saliva. If they really wanted to be over protective then they should have let them wrestle and possible considered post exposure rabies treatment for all the individuals that actually touched the raccoon.
