2013 Bulldog Bash Previously the Christmas Clash Hosted By: Bearden High School Knoxville, TN We run a 32-man individual bracket on Track Wrestling. Last year, we had teams from Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, and South Carolina. We are looking to expand the tournament to include more teams from more states. All of your wrestlers will receive at least two matches in a double-elimination format. The dates of the tournament will be Friday and Saturday, December 20 & 21, 2013. Weigh-ins will be from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm on Friday. We will begin wrestling at 6:00 pm on Friday. The first day will consist of the first round of 32 and the championship round of 16, as well as the first and second round of consolations. Saturday weigh-ins will be at 8:00 am and we will begin wrestling at 9:30 am. We will run all the finals together on 3 mats and give all awards after the finals. Finals will start around 4:00 pm. We will give great team awards to the Top 4 teams and medals to the Top 6 individual winners. We will also have two OW awards – one for upper weights and one for the lower weights. The entry fee for the tournament will be $175.00 this year. Please let me know of your interest as soon as possible so I can send you a contract to guarantee your spot in the tournament! Typically Wayne Co and Whitley attend the Preseason Tournament on Nov 17th. That is an individual tournament, a match getter, hints preseason! We do FR, JV, VARSITY, GIRLS, AND MIDDLE SCHOOL all in 4 Man Round Robin brackets as numbers permit( Anyone and Everyone is permitted to wrestle in this, much like an open) The Christmas Clash is getting more competitive each season and that is an individual tournament with top 3 Teams getting Trophies etc and individuals getting medals through Top 8, for HIgh School Teams(Must be part of a team) Hope that helps
