    This summer camp is about making wrestlers better. The June 6-7
    camp is one awesome chance for your wrestler to get in the room with two of
    the biggest names in the NCAA. Attached is a flyer with more information.

    2013 Bulldog Bash

    Previously the Christmas Clash

    We run a 32-man individual bracket on Track Wrestling. Last year, we had teams from Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, and South Carolina. We are looking to expand the tournament to include more teams from more states. All of your wrestlers will receive at least two matches in a double-elimination format. The dates of the tournament will be Friday and Saturday, December 20 & 21, 2013. Weigh-ins will be from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm on Friday. We will begin wrestling at 6:00 pm on Friday. The first day will consist of the first round of 32 and the championship round of 16, as well as the first and second round of consolations. Saturday weigh-ins will be at 8:00 am and we will begin wrestling at 9:30 am. We will run all the finals together on 3 mats and give all awards after the finals. Finals will start around 4:00 pm.

    We will give great team awards to the Top 4 teams and medals to the Top 6 individual winners. We will also have two OW awards – one for upper weights and one for the lower weights.  

    The entry fee for the tournament will be $175.00 this year. Please let me know of your interest as soon as possible so I can send you a contract to guarantee your spot in the tournament!

    Typically Wayne Co and Whitley attend the Preseason Tournament on Nov 17th. That is an individual tournament, a match getter, hints preseason! We do FR, JV, VARSITY, GIRLS, AND MIDDLE SCHOOL all in 4 Man Round Robin brackets as numbers permit( Anyone and Everyone is permitted to wrestle in this, much like an open)

    The Christmas Clash is getting more competitive each season and that is an individual tournament with top 3 Teams getting Trophies etc and individuals getting medals through Top 8, for HIgh School Teams(Must be part of a team)

    I will be hosting an Open Tournament for all K-8 Graders Dec 3rd, 2011 at Central High School, Knoxville TN. We will group all kids in a Round Robin format to get mat time. I understand that many AAU Youth Wrestling Teams will not have started, however please invite and inform them as this would be a great preseason tournament for those kids to kick off the year! I hope all are well and will talk to you soon! I will have a flyer ready very soon.

    If you have a tournament in KY, duals or invitational, I will trade out one team on entry to my tournament. Just another option.

    The Central Clash will be run with up to 18 Teams. The format will guarantee 3 or 5 matches. The first three rounds of the tournament are round robin. Seeding is a crucial part of this tournament so that the best guys are separated into different bracket settings. If you lose one match in those first three rounds you can only come out of the bracket and compete for 5th-8th places. The top four from each grouping will compete for places 1st-4th. It is great to get matches, as stated above you get 3 or 5!

    We run 4 mats for competition rounds up to Medal rounds. Last year the tournament went really smooth with no major delays and great turnout. I would like to add some tough competition this season.

    We Medal 1st-4th Wrestler’s and 1st-3rd Team Trophies. We honor 2 Outstanding Wrestlers, Upper Weights/Lower Weights. We had some great matches in 2010 and look for a better turnout in 2011!

    I strive to make a tournament run smooth and efficient with a great atmosphere. We have a full concession all day and the Hospitality room and friendly folks you will remember, in my opinion.

    Entry Fee is $100.00 Weigh-In 8am by Team

    All coaches should plan on attending the seeding meeting on Friday Night. This is the most crucial part of tournament! Bring credentials with you so that it goes smooth, I will supply Pizzas and/or snacks.
