I thought last year's post season was terrible. They should have at least placed back to 4th and done a 16 man tournament.

One complaint I have about semi-state and the final round being scored as one tournament is that a wrestler who loses a match in the semi-state is still eligible to win the state championship. If both of these weekends are a part of the "state tournament" then how can a wrestler who loses a match be the champion? For example, a wrestler who loses in the finals in the semi-state can still win it all the next weekend. For this reason, I think the scoring needs to be split up.

I know Payne Carr is going to the Naval Academy. (I think he will be the best college wrestler in this 2021 Kentucky class). Spencer Moore, although not a senior, is going to UNC. Where is everyone else going?

I was thinking the same thing about a high school hosting the tournament in future years. If we have little to no Covid restrictions next year we will definitely have a shortage of tickets.

Go back to districts, regions, then state. Top four from districts go to regions and top four from regions go to states. Do real seeding by a seeding meeting for the state tournament.

Is there a list for most individual state champs per team?
