floridafan, when I read the post sober I didn't understand it. I drank a fifth of my strongest brew and suddenly his post made sense. Now I am hungover and sober but I can't remember how ceron's post made when I was intoxicated. Damn, need to drink again and get back with you.
  2. Very interesting post on qualifications of anger. Seriously, do you really think we elevated to the point of anger, really, ANGER. Not me. Geez, I hope no one really got, I mean, really angry at my posting. Should I leave the site? I didn't know I had that much power and influence over others to make them ANGRY. Come on, ANGRY? If my typed words are so mesmerizing and powerful, just think what my spoken words could do. Dang, I could run for president. Obama, look out! Ronald Reagan's protege is about to take over!
  3. Remember, Rodney King's quote followed racial riots and I believe a few deaths. I know one man got a brick upside the head. We haven't come close to that yet. Brother Bobbie Boston came on and gave us all a dose of salt peter calming everyone down. No blood shed, no harm, just peace and love from now. Everyone agrees. Love is in the air. Thanks Brother Bob.
  4. Olympic wish I envy the disdain and contempt everyone feels for you. I'm a little put out wrestlemomma had to get righteous and point out I wasn't from Ryle. I reread my posts and never eluded to being from Ryle, I was only defending Mark Hall's right to wrestle while pointing out the religous schools have been playing that game for years. I was gonna ask wrestlemomma if I can next time take the name "grapplebag" providing she hasn't laid claim to it, lol. Someone pointed out if Mark Hall is a 6 time state champ, Kentucky can't take credit. I disagree. St X and Ky take credit for Knable, the Indiana resident, dangit, I'm gonna take credit for Hall. BTW, I would like Mr. Boston to reread my posts and point out where I said anything personal and slanderous. Remember, people read what they want to read. The word catholic is not a bad word is it? Read my posts again and point out where I said anything derogatory about catholics or religion.
  5. OMG, floridafan you really get. Wow! Just when I was thinking you were two pounds of fromunda cheese, you post a brilliant response. I am an anonymous person smashing another anonymous person! No slander, nothing personal just entertainment and good old fashion debate. Actually, perhaps I shouldn't down play the site. I do beleive there are very legitamate areas of discussion and debate. Hopefully, Mr. Moderator won't spill my identity and make me have to confront and beat up all of those dads I have insulted over the years.... One dad at a time, I will take each one of you! If I make an assumption, god forbid, I will disagree with the spirit of Newfan. If Newfan is against kids moving in then why didn't he agree with the Knable issue. Afterall, the kid did live in another state and time zone! Oh well, I probably shouldn't dig that one up again. I miss the days of I pinned em all and I date ur mom as well. Those two were brilliant and definetly added spice to the site. Olympic wish was also alot of fun. I believe some people want everyone to be like little ants marching. Like all ants though, there must be one queen, I will assign floridafan the queen role given his previous comments which had to be deleted, lol. No, I'm not the king, that would imply freaky stuff, however, pioneer pride can be your king, I believe he fits the role too. Back to you floridafan, you made me laugh, partly because you actually looked up the definition of grapplesack on websters and partly because I realized you are an anonymous person and proof man can live and funtion without a brain! Anyway, bring it on I will gladly crush you like a bug on the next debate if allowed by Mr. Moderator. Sincerely yours, $#%^&&#@@**^)&^
  6. my misspelling and lack of punctuation was satire, certainly you knew that
  7. A great friend of mine and former wrestling coach is a deocrated Vietnam war veteran. We were having this interesting discussion about the causes of war; religion, land, wanting the same woman, etc. My friend and coach summed it up the best when he told me, "men like to mix it, as long as men inhabit this world there will be fights and wars". I am too old to wrestle now but I still like to "mix it". Call me Napolean!!!!!! some may say I'm Hitler, but I prefer Napolean!
  8. my days of self promoting an anonymous person are over you guys have beaten me down and won i will stop from now on im sorry i hurt feelings i still never said anything about myrons parents i will become a kywrestling camilion i will not disagree or offer a differing opinion im very sorry
  9. yes you r right i agree completely i am broken now
  10. I guess it's my turn to post. First, I am not from Ryle and do not directly or indirectly represent them in any way. I didn't realize the Grapple name was a Ryle trademark. From now on, call me mudslinger, or just jackass. I will respond to either one. Perhaps I have a warped sense of humor, but I derive tremendous entertainment from this site. Actually, arguing with parents on this site is often hilarious. If anyone becomes angry from what I am typing they should seriously reevaluate their lives and turn to something of more substance to better substantiate their lives. I am competitive, fiercely competitive. I was very competitive on the mat and remain highly competitive professionally. Although I can no longer physically compete, I certainly enjoy the mental sparing with people in forms of debate. My mom always taught me not to pick on those less fortunate or make fun of those who can't help it... Well sorry Mom, I think I let you down. I've been on this website discussing and arguing with people and, well, think I've made some people cry. I believe my wit has left some whining and crying foul play. Please forgive me mom, the moderator is threatening to tell everyone my name and make you look bad for raising such a bad apple. I agree with GOO about improving my debating skills. Usually, I'm Yappi.com, Ohio's sports forum. I have been involved in many knock down drag out fights. At the end, we usually come to a middle ground, laugh about it and move on. Amazingly, some of my most fierce debates have ended with an exchange of email addresses and developing friends at tournaments. Everyone needs to remember one thing; Kentucky state wrestling medals are not handed out on this website. They are earned on the mat! Now, I will evaluate myself. Am I aggressive and over-the-top? Yes! Do I twist others' comments and try to make them look like a fool? Yes! Do I jump to conclusions and sometimes sucker punch people by off the wall messages? Yes! Am I laughing while typing and hoping it makes others laugh or even get mad and respond back adversely? Yes! Am I an antisocial human being? No! I do this just to spark serious debate and entertainment! Typically, I try to articulate my point using proper grammer etc. As a high school educated adult, I don't use run-on sentences, type entire paragraphs without a single period or comma and try to use words which might educate the kids on this site. Half the time it takes me several readings to even figure out what our Kentucky adults are even trying to communicate because their writing and communication skills are so elementary and poor. This site is typically not intellectually challenging. It usually consists of the same people saying the same thing over and over. This site hit its peak September 26, 2007 with 158 users. Today, it has less than half the volume. Why? Well maybe members are being threatened. Maybe the site is not stimulating to many. This is one of the first topics I have found interesting and felt like commenting. Was I mean? Yes. Was I unfair? Perhaps! Did I step the intensity way up? Yes. Did I hurt some feeling? Yes. Did I bring up many valid points and hipocrisy? Yes Yes Yes. Did I debate others using facts and specific examples? Yes. Could others seriously intellectually counter many of my points? No. What happened when people couldn't counter my points. They went squalling to the moderators to close the thread. Did I get too rough on a high school wrestlers? Yes. Was I called out by a coach to stop roughing up the senior? Yes. Did I apologize? Yes. Am I perfect? Yes...I mean NO, NO I'm not perfect! For a moderator to come on this site which is supposed to be anonymous and indirectly threaten or even suggest identity can be revealed I find appalling. Should the moderators feel it within their power to relinquish my identities then so be it. I have broad shoulders and very comfortable within my skin. Interestingly, the savvy readers know exactly who I am. But Mr. Moderator, if you want to reveal my identity then go ahead. Even kick me off if you choose. If I am so controversial and adverse to your site, you have the power to remove me. I will profess to everyone. Read what I type and ignore it, agree with me, disagree with me citing evidence based counters, or simply stick your head under the pillow and start crying because I hurt your feelings, or call Mr. Moderator and have me banned. Interestingly, one of my very best friends recieved one of my nastiest slams. He called me and laughed.
  11. Ok coffee, my goal is to now make you fret all day. Why don't you reread Workhard's first post in which the context was very much adverse towards Hall. The implication was quite clear for a neutral reader. Then, read his latest post where he brought up very legitamate concerns regarding his sons being unable to wrestle for their prospective high schools. If you read and compare the two, you "should" realize, the second comment was not directed toward Hall at all. My point from the very beginning was one of duplicity and hipocrisy and negativity toward Hall. I'm sorry you are unable to comprehend my irritation. On a side note, I was not happy with the post match behavior of a senior state champ, one of Ky's prime wrestlers who happened to lose to Hall. I then used this forum to vent on the catholics being given preferential treatment by allowing kids who live in different states and even different times zones to attend and compete for their school. You see coffee, it all tied together as far as I was concerned. You, however, were unable to appropriately read my test and YOU assumed I was slamming the parents of a returning state champs. Unfortunatley, the log in your eye caused a misreading "the parents" to "his parents". It was you who took this to a different level and personal level of this wrestler's parents. I simply pointed out you can't read....a product of poor education perhaps? You now are asking me to apologize to the parents of someone I didn't even mention. I will meet you in the middle however. I will apologize! I apologize you don't have the mental facilities to read elementary level words and understand their meaing. I apologize I even dignify your responses with my time and effort. I apologize you lost the very game you played with other members of this site when you ripped into them by making fun of their intellect. I apologize you are fretting over my message that points out you misread and misinterpreting my other messages. There you go. Are you happy. Wake up and smell youself..... Think about that one for a while, it may make you laugh....if you get the joke.
  12. Wow. Your diplomatic skills have improved. You are no longer attacking Hall. Your point is excellent and the fact your children can't wrestle is an injustice, seriously. But, I believe, correct me if I'm wrong, the problem is more with the affiliation between the middle school and the high school. Why doesn't the state recognize your middle school as a feeder program to St. X..... Is it KHSAA not recognizing the middle school or is it the high school is just not part of the middle school.
  13. Wrong again coffee. Never wrestled Knable. Like I said, this is not about my accomplishments, my day is over. Try to understand this concept if you can. Knable was only an example demonstrating double standards. As it turned out, it was a St X parent who was critical of Hall being allowed to wrestle given his questionable living situation. I ONLY USED KNABLE AS AN EXAMPLE SINCE KNABLE WAS A ST X GRADUATE AND THE PARENT WHO WAS CRITICAL WAS FROM ST X. Can you understand now? Wake up and smell the coffee! One should realize, I am not being critical of Knable. To rephrase the situation. IF IT WAS GOOD FOR ST X AND KNABLE BACK THEN, IT SHOULD BE GOOD FOR RYLE AND HALL NOW. In my opinion, Knable living out of the state and still competing in the state was far worse the Hall living in Ryle's district and wrestling for Ryle. If a parent from, let say, Larue County, were to question Hall's situation, well then, I would have little reason to use Knable as an example. In fact, I never would have used Knable at all. It was just to easy not to mention Knable when addressing the St. X parent. Got it coffee? What is also laughable, is people speculating what Hall is going to do after wrestling. I suggest you and all the other lame brains double standard goof balls lobby KHSAA to have a bylaw stating "if we think you are going to move after the season, you will not be allowed to wrestle". lol. That one should get you far.
  14. floridafan I read some of your earlier posts and you often profess to be of superior intellect. I suggest you read my posts again and you should realize I said nothing of Myron's parents. I was clearly speaking of "the parent" who was bashing Hall. There is a difference between "the parent" and "his parent". The apology owed would be yours to me given you couldn't differentiate between the two. The fact remains, I said nothing of Myron's parents. Duh! Although I'm certain you will reread the posts and probably feel like a total loser when you realize I was right and, of course, you were wrong. Please, I will forgive your intellectual shortcomings and consider the source.

    Best worst excuse

I actually heard a heavy say; "coach his boob was suffocating me and I had to pin myself." I still laugh at that one.
