also I think the other tournament Fahy place at was Super 32 not the Beast.
-
Did one of the Cooper's also place one year?
-
At least we got 1 on the podium. Congrats to Fahy. Saw some comments on some other message boards about the quality and depth of the brackets at Super32. Saw this on Yappi. Pretty impressive showing by PA. High School total # of place winners per state, out of a possible 112 places. PA=32 OH=9 FL=9 NJ=7 VA=7 MI=6 NC=6 NY=5 IN=4 DE=4 MD=3 GA=3 MO=2 CA=2 TX=2 MA=2 WV=1 IA=1 KY=1 MN=1 KS=1 OR=1 NH=1 CT=1

grapplesack, I am sure everyone in KY wrestling is grateful for your intelligence, wit, use of proper grammar and self promotion. The truth is that no one attacked any wrestler or parent in any way except you. Your zeal to defend your opinion hijacked the entire discussion and turned it personal. Other posts were directed at the circumstances and rules related to the situation. You were also the first person to attempt to identify someone with your implied accusation of who was making certain posts. Then you cry foul when it is directed at you and say you find in appalling. And you honestly wonder why participation on this message board has declined?? Please let me know if I have missed any commas or periods. WR. -

Not sure why you keep referring to this as if it is a "Louisville" thing. It seems the comments regarding several of the issues raised are being generated from throughout the state including up here in N. KY. The rule you are talking about with Knable has nothing to do with Louisville. It is a National High School Federation rule that addresses border states and what happens when a kid attends school across a border from his residence. It applies across the country and the rule basically states that you compete in High School based on where you attend school. As I recall there are some KY kids in the Evansville area that attend HS in Indiana (Mater Dei or Memorial) that compete in IN rather than KY. The same would be true if a KY kid attended Moeller or Lasalle. -
Is Mark Hall the only Michigan wrestler on Ryle? I had heard that there were 1 or 2 others coming then moving back after the season. I was at a tournament in Ohio last weekend and some dad asked me about it. He was interested for his son who is 7th grade in Ohio and wants to wrestle a year of HS in Ky.
