    Oldham County Super Duals

While im not making any excuses, because Woodford wrestled a great dual, Oldham was missing far more than just Shirkey. -Mikey Caudill the Heavyweight was out with a football injury -Missing a 106 who was wrestling a middle school tournament that day -As you mentioned John was out -Connor Wilkerson had also hurt his neck and was out for the day So in total Oldham was missing 4 wrestlers, 3 of which are top 8 ranked. But once again, no excuses. Hats off to Woodford for getting it done, because thats what this sports about.

    Up and Coming Programs

I would agree St. X will be a force in the next couple of years. Not just one but TWO Lampe's in the pipeworks, young talent like Hunter French, and a Middle School team that I was told placed 3'rd overall (But ive been wrong before). Not to mention genuinely just a bunch of standup guys! If your reading this congrats coach K. on the team sportsmanship award.

    STATE FACE OFF

Alright I will go ahead and try to clarify, the face off was actually a mistake. The plan, as the finalists were instructed was to walk out in our lines, listen to the national anthem , turn and return to the back lobby, and then the face-off would proceed as normal. The announcer jumped straight into the face-off however and the finalists were kind of "stuck". This explains the 103's uncertainty on what to do.
  4. Couple of updates from region 5 duals Oldham won as a team, and Eastern got second. As for individual results of significance that I can remember: -Larry Hinkle beat Cole Procter by decision -At 160 Tom Rupp went undefeated, against both Jeb Ayers and Chase Rush -Jeb Ayers pinned Chase in the first -Roy Bisenius also went undefeated in a tough 130 class -Joe Rupp was also at 135 for the day and looked good Thanks as always!
  5. Hey ranger, great rankings as always, just a couple of quick details from Oldham Ccounty for your rankings -John Shirkey dropped to 112 and will be active there at TCI -Conner Wilkerson is trying to drop to 103 -Cody Bishop (Ranked 17 at 52) dropped to 40 Thanks as always!

    119 State Draw

Exactly what I thought when I looked at it. All of the top ranked wrestlers look fairly well dispersed through-out the bracket.

    24 Nov oldham Co. duals

He is talking about a quad dual at Oldham Co. on November the 24th. In addition to Oldham County, Campbell County, Manuel, and John Hardin were there. I don't remember the exact team scores, but I know Oldham won all three of there duals beating Campbell by 1 point. Campbell beat John Hardin and Manuel and John Hardin defeated Manuel. In the big individual match up of the night, Josh Johnson beat Cory Shotwell by I think 2 like 6 to 4. It was a great match.
  9. Just thought I would let you know TJ Schuyler, 103, from Oldham Co. Shot up like a weed and is going to wrestle 125 not 103.

    112 lb Bracket

Both Byrant and Troxell are absolute monsters at there respective weights, espicaly considering that they are sophmores and freshman respectivley. I will say this as to the comment about Troxell being "depleated" from cutting weight. He has been wrestling at a very low weight for years now. I believe he wrestled as a 103 in middleschool for 3 years in a row (correct me if im wrong). I feel the reason he is so dominate is the reason he is able to cut the weight he does and still remain strong. That being said I have also wrestled Will Bryant, Levell, Wara (twice), and Lenz this season, and of those my money is on Will Bryant, However I feel troxell is just to big for him to handle so I see Troxell in the finals with Bradbury. Honestly tho, I could see Troxells size giving him the edge over Bradbury. Bradbury seemed to have trouble with the physical style of Wara at North Oldhams tournement, and Troxell is just as if not more so that style of physical wrestling. Sorry for the wall of text, just my thoughts on the weight class.
