Officiating was suspect at best. Unsportsmanlike point and mystery point. Had hin flat and tilted several times and didn't get near fall. But yes, kid was strong.

    Raider rumble

There's several state champs, placers and future placers in this tournament. There will be plenty of great matchups.

    Where was ?????!

    Great news!
  5. Aaron is too big and long. I would like to see him at 113. That gives one of those other guys an extra year at the varsity level.
  6. Brossart will be our 106 or 113 i promise ya.

    Big Announcement is here

While i respect the heck out of what you are doing, I will say alot of people focus too much on tournaments and not enough on trianing. My philosophy has always been compete in a few big tournaments and train the rest of the time. Cutting weight all year takes its toll on alot of kids. Not all but a lot.

Storck didn't place last year. Cook did. That's my guess.

I agree Ranger. This group is more than capable. Man there are guys ranked high nationally that didnt place. One in particular that i know personally at 138 ranked #2 in the nation that came away with nothing. Its extremely tough. If youre not wrestling perfect, youre not placing.

Losing out the gate then stringing 4 straight wins is very impressive. 2 more shots. i like his chances of placing in the next 2 years.

Logans trained in freestyle for years. It's not new to him. Had nothing to do with instincts. He didnt wrestle smart. Wasnt focused or confident. Thats what got him beat. The scorekeeper definately screwed up the match. Doesnt matter. Wasnt his day.

Just lacking the wrestling experience is exactly why I thought top 30 not 20. I think Reed will be a state champ. He wants it bad. Wells I thought about for a long time. He's definately one of top kids in the state. As for heavys I have Frankrone and Cornett & Meiman listed. Theryre not exactly light. I just think when your talking pound for pound I'm not convinced theres not a 220 or heavy that makes that list in my mind right now. JMO I don't see the heavys working as hard as some of the lighter guys are in our state. With the exception of Reed.
  19. I give AJ Bindner the nod at 138. Though Trent is very very good and is capable of winning it.
