The reality of it is that college coaches really don't care about a state title what they want is a coachable kid that can compete well at the national level.

Grappler of Old I agree with you if the wrestler is a multiple sport athlete but for those handfull of athletes that are only dedicated to wrestling and want to wrestle at the next level. National competition is the best way to not only get recruited but to make yourself a better wrestler.

I agree that watching and understanding the sport will help you improve as a wrestler but you also have to go out and wrestle the best in the country and get beat up to find out what you are doing wrong and how to fix it.

Your not supposed to be Putting Out at practice you should be wrestling.

I think Matt Slone and Luke Ervin was a very exciting match

I think it would be right down to the wire they both are very strong but don't have very good stamina I think it goes to whoever wants it more

Whoever wins this weight class wins because nobody moved up or down. The top two wrestlers at the two weights above and below this class would probably win this class. And in most cases fairly easily.
